This is a very fraudulent company and I have gotten other complaints from various other clients that they have had to work with making the same complaints of extra fees once clients are close to paying debt off completely. Back in 2018 through September 2019 I was living at Sun Prairie and it was a very ghetto terrible nightmare Every day we were calling the office because our racist neighbor who end up getting bedbugs and infecting the whole entire building, kept threatening my husband trying fight my husband, trying to hit our cars with stuff just all kinds of different things. There was gunshots going on and we showed them pictures of the bullets we found after calling the cops and them not doing much, always paid our rent on time, we started getting rat infestation in our porch eating their way into our home. The neighbor started threatening my son. My son cant even take out the dogs or us and ARL got called to the point they stop coming. It was a living nightmare we ended up moving in with my mom three months prior leaving to keep us safe and was paying rent still on time in another home. In the end up September we made Sun Prairie aware we were moving out in October to Southridge Estates and Southrigde Estates actually contacted them prior to even approve us to be in the home to see if we owed any balances which they told no we didn’t. Well I guess we were served by Curtis in 2022 who showed up to our house and gave us a letter saying that we are being sued by Sun Prairie for a one-month balance of $1100 for October rent. SMH years later. Baffled we tried to gather all of our intel of the situation prior to going to court. Which unfortunately I couldn’t find all the information but the funny thing is I found it all now to prove in court everything they said was a lie. The lawyer Curtis try to use scare tactics by insulting my husband during Court, telling the accountant to lie on the stand about cleaning fees and everything else which it all got removed because I caught him up …but unfortunately I didn’t have the letter showing that they knew we were moving out so I ended up stuck with the one month rent balance, court costs. But we having going through some financial hardships to where we’re working temporary jobs and any time I can’t make a payment on one month I always double it the next month communicate with the receptionists when everything is possible so there’s no misunderstanding. Well my balance got drop down to $483 on June 15 when I paid $100 and I end up having to call a week later letting them know I could not make another payment for July due to job issues. The receptionist was very rude very degrading. She treated me like I wasn’t a human being who is dealing with the cost of living going up very rude and degrading hung up on me and everything I try to get her name she didn’t want to give me her name but she said she was going to write down the info. Well August 15 came around and I called and made a payment as I promise it was $200 I asked what the balance was left over and I was towed after the $200 processed I would still have $418.53 left. I was lost. I tried to ask for my balance sheet. The lady denied me that she didn’t send it to me. She was very rude. Once again it was probably the same lady I last spoke to him. I asked her what the original amount was. She said it was $618.53 I told her that was incorrect, because I was last told that it was $483 She laughed at me and said you don’t pay your stuff on time, and that it would never be that low. Just very rude for no reason. I asked her how am I supposed to pay if I’m always getting two different amounts how am I supposed to know when I’m done? She got very angry and hung up. I called later and spoke to a different receptionist and she told me the reason why I had an added on balance is because they push a garnishment on me on August 1 for a different amount of $732.56 so they add an extra fee cost is on there due to that, I asked them why I wasn’t made aware of this and why it’s a different amounts she couldn’t give me an answer. So here.

It's horrible but clearly, everyone thinks so. A female named Payton called to tell me my payment didn't go through. I tried to explain to her that I had to get a new debit card but to please not call until after 3 as I'm a college student and this was something i already told them and I would call and fix that after class. She was extremely rude and I'm pretty sure used profanity under her breath. this place sucks if given the option PICK SOMEWHERE ELSE !!! It seems though that everyone stuck dealing with these people don't have the option to pick who they go though so I pray this place gets shut down.

Thought they were understanding of financial circumstances, but often condescending towards you and Colleen always makes me feel like a piece of trash when I can't make a payment.

These guys came after me for a debt collection that I had disputed on my credit reports! Had me arrested, garnished my bond of 1600.00. Being on SSDI, that was more than my paycheck for a month! I filed to quash the judgement due to the fact that I AM on disability. They got to keep it anyway. How is this right? It is not even my debt! SLICK WORK THERE BOYS!

Very rude. No communication and when communication is done it's not even reliable. They said something but never followed through with it. They lie and think it's my job to call them to pay them when l it's their job not mine. They wait years later to so anything and took me to court when I had no knowledge of it. Not how you address things. And they call themselves professionals
