Mr. Duffy went above and beyond on my son's case. He did everything he said he would do and made things happen quickly. Mr. Duffy always kept me informed and called me directly and very quick to return my calls also. Very pleased with his services!

I am a divorced father who was caught in a nasty custody case with my ex wife. After she left the state with my daughter, I tried unsuccessfully to find an attorney that could or would help. Then I found Tim... After meeting with him and his staff, I felt comfortable and confident. They kept me informed and involved every step of the way. My daughter was home a week later WOW. After wining a couple of preliminary hearings, we entered mediation (another brick wall). Tim did not give up. As I write this I can say it is all resolved and things turned out the way I hoped they would. If you want to find an attorney that will go the extra mile for you and treat you like you are just as important as any other client, call Tim Duffy. I can't say enough about Tim, Tess and the rest of his staff.

Took a year to get my child support order addendum in, child support representative even said the attorney "drug their feet". Neglected to notify me of how I was to be paying my child support from then on, and tried to charge me for fixing their mistakes. Attorney put down I was married and had to resubmit the addendum after a YEAR. This has been going on two years now and am just picking up the pieces to fix it. Five thousand dollars in the crap chute. BEST OF LUCK!

I can't put it into words how horrible Mr. Hinshaw is about representation. In fact, the rating sums it up. I would love to divulge more but that would be placing me as low as he is. Don't trust him and don't pay him. That was the quickest waste of $5,000. He has a BIG mouth, and intentions are not in anyone's best interest.I unfortunately padded his wallet. I would strongly suggest that any human would seek other counsel.

Mark is a great attorney and very easy to work with. His knowledge of Iowa divorce law and procedure is vast and I have seen first hand that he is very well respected in Polk County and the surrounding areas. His flat fees for uncontested divorces are as competitive as you will find and if your case is more complex, he is going to use your retainer money wisely, and to your best benefit. He's not the kind of attorney that will take a large retainer, burn through it in one month and then ask for more money or withdrawal from the case. I appreciate the fact that he is responsive to calls and emails and his support staff is great to work with when appropriate. Lastly, his office is conveniently located and offers plenty of free parking. I would recommend the Law Office of Mark R. Hinshaw for any of your general practice needs, but especially if you are going through a divorce or need assistance in filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy relief.

Down to earth guy, who treats his clients like regular people. Very experienced attorney who doesn't have to waste a lot of time and money researching things like a rookie. Very reasonable rates as well.
