Jennifer was very friendly, always had time to answer any question or address any issue. I would recommend her to anyone.

I am currently going through some very trying times. The wonderful staff at the Hope Law Firm has been very kind, considerate, and patient with my several important needs regarding these difficult matters. I have only great things to say about this firm, especially my attorney Jennifer Russell. She has been with me during these tough times for me and my family and is always helpful and encouraging. She reassures me often that "everything is going to be ok". It helps a LOT!! I would HIGHLY recommend this firm and it's knowledgeable and experienced staff to anyone seeking legal aid of any sort. Jennifer Russell really provides experience in very difficult cercumstances. She has held in there through a long case with lots of turns and twists. Would definitely recommend.

I hired Katie from Hope Law Firm in dsm originally for what I thought would be a simple joint custody agreement. When my child's mother refused to agree, we had to push further. She started to keep my daughter from me, have her parents interfere with my time with her, and even demanded that she be allowed to "decide when and if" I am allowed to see my daughter at mediation. Throughout Mediation, Pretrial, and court itself, Katie was there for me every step of the way. She worked tirelessly to win custody rights for me. Any time the respondent caused an issue (IE: keeping the child when we had agreed I would have her, her parents removing child from daycare without my permission, etc) Katie was just one call away. If she was busy at the time, she always called me back the same day. Her assistant Shelby was also a great help throughout the entire process. When the case went in front of the judge, Katie destroyed the respondents case. She made the respondents lawyer look like a fool. Their case was full of holes, and Katie made sure to highlight every single one to the judge. The respondent made the mistake of handing over her entire facebook account in the Interrogatories, and Katie went through it with a fine tooth comb. She found messages to a friend of the respondents confiding in her that her boyfriend (a violent felon) was emotionally abusive to my daughter. It took a great deal of effort on Katie's part to find this information, and it proved invaluable at trial. Thanks to her hard work, I was awarded primary physical custody of my daughter. I must admit, when I first talked to the people at hope law-firm, I was a bit worried about the price. They are a little more expensive than some of the other Lawyers I had consulted. However, you get what you pay for. It was worth every penny to have my daughter safe, and in my custody. I would highly recommend Katie Naset to anyone in a similar situation. She is extremely knowledgeable, and takes a personal interest in her cases. I am forever grateful for her hard work and determination in bringing my daughter home to me.

Katie Naset helped me get through one of the hardest times in my life. She kept open communication with me throughout the entire process of my divorce. It is a very hard time to go through, but she proved to me I could trust in her, and helped me through every step! I had a lawyer prior to hiring Katie, who stole from me, and lied to me. I had no trust in any lawyer at this point. Katie gave me hope, and helped me trust again and to have faith in the legal system. Katie has also given me further legal advise, even after the divorce was final. I would recommend her to anyone! Thanks for everything you've done Katie!

I hired Katie to represent me at a child support hearing since I live 1000 miles away. Katie was exceptionally knowledgeable, reassuring, professional, and has terrific follow through. I've spoken to many attorneys in the 8 years since I've been divorced, but none have treated me with the compassion and empathy Katie has for her clients. It's clear that she wants the best outcome for the family involved because she cares, not because it's just a job to her. After I hired Katie I completely relaxed, because I felt that confident in her abilities. I was right; she was well prepared and strongly advocated for my daughter, and achieved exactly the results I had hoped for. I cannot recommend Katie highly enough.

Katie and her team are there for you. Katie is fair with her billing and responds to emails in a timely manner. Katie listened to what I wanted in the divorce, and would provide advice based on her years of experience. Sometimes it wasn't what I wanted to hear, but it was good and fair advice. In the end, Katie was there for me and was awesome during the mediation. She is very knowledgeable about Iowa divorce and if she doesn't know the answer (which was rare), she will find the answer. The divorce process itself is very frustrating and can be very unfair but Katie navigates the rules and laws with confidence and knowledge.

Katie was very helpful during my stressful divorce. My ex was really dragging his feet and she made sure to keep pushing and keeping the ball rolling. She was always very prompt and informative whenever I had any questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend her and Hope Law Firm!

Although I can't say I ever "enjoyed" my three year experience with Hope Law Firm due to the fact we were dealing with my ex-husband, I must say that Katie Naset was great to work with and in fact I now consider her a friend. Katie was always responsive to phone calls and emails, and her assistant Shelby was ready to help when Katie wasn't available. Katie did her best to work within a broken judicial system to help me receive the property payments I was due according to my divorce decree, she represented me strongly and well when we had to go to court, and did her best to reassure me during emotional times. Katie handled my divorce with children. She was great! I always felt comfortable with her, she was easy to talk to, and she explained all steps of the process. I really appreciated her prompt responses to my calls or emails. Katie seemed like she genuinely had time for me and cared about my case. She sat with me for hours during mediation, and sat with me until I was satisfied with my interrogatories, she made sure I had no worries when all I was doing was worrying.
