Debra has consistently gone above and beyond to help me get what was fair in my divorce. When I first met her I was severely clinically depressed with multiple hospitalizations. My ex had served me divorce papers in the hospital. Debra was the calm in the storm who convinced my tear stained face that I should fight for what is fair. It worked. She was able to negotiate a fair settlement in mediation, which my ex's lawyer fought after mediation. Debra stood up for me and the judge's written decision significantly praised Debra for her dedication to protecting me. The judge stated that the amount my ex was offering as a settlement would be an illusion of a settlement. When Debra recently went back to court with me to get more visitation (we did), my ex told the entire courtroom that Debra was the reason he hadn't been able to take advantage of me. She is. There have been at least 5 occasions where my bipolar condition has caused me to act inappropriately with Debra. On all occasions she was gracious, clear, and acted in my best interest. And she never held it against me. She is always professional and also very warm towards me and my family members who were taking care of me. She was happy to explain, answer questions, and make sure all three of us understood what was happening. She shared her personal life with us as if we were all friends, and we are.

I recently came to Debra six weeks before my custody trial in need of a new attorney with expertise in litigation. Debra took my case and, in that short amount of time, turned out a flawless execution in the courtroom. She is known for being an effective collaborator, but I know from personal experience that she is unbelievably tenacious in the courtroom and yields results that ensure positive outcomes for children at the center of such ordeals. I couldn't recommend a divorce/custody attorney more highly.

When experiencing the need to utilize a Family Law attorney, it can be stressful. But Debra provide comfort, support, and understanding throughout every step of the process. She is extremely resourceful and experienced. I would highly recommend Debra to represent anyone in a Family Law case.

Personally I would love too say....HBM Law firm is one of the best....my experience with them was so good,there one of the most sweetest,kind,very honest law firm out there and does their best to help their clients,they treat us more than just a client,theres just not enough words to describe them and I wud highly recommend them too anyone out there,miss himani and her Paralegal chey Vargas . ..are very sweet,so easy to work it and I wud say this .....they made every step of my paperwork so easy...for example if I didn't understand anything ..and I ask them to explain it,they explained it in most simple, possible way they could, they made me feel like a kid going too school all over again....which was good ....! Evan was the first name that popped up when I google searched "best lawyer for fathers". The internet is full of lies and deception but in this case it couldn't have been more right. I discussed with Evan my situation and financial abilities. I couldn't afford him. 2 days later Evan called me and offered to assist me in representing myself with paid coaching from Evan, I accepted his offer. 2 months down the road I was able to hire Evan full time on my divorce. He extensivly looked through my situation and got to know me and my children. He respected all choices I made in my case. He was always there for phone calls, emails, and in person meetings. I went to court yesterday for my trial. I won't know the outcome for 2 weeks. Good or bad I do know that hiring Evan, and his team of lawyers that he has at his discretion, made it possible to fight for everything a loving father could possible ask for. I am forever grateful. I have known Evan for many years through a shared affiliation, but I never thought I would need his services as an attorney. I'm grateful that he was there when I needed him.
