In the very beginning, my wife and I wanted to apply for the Green Card ourselves. We had contacted Himani to have a consultation about the process itself. She very explicitly explained the process and broke it down enough to give us the confidence to apply for it without a lawyer. I spent many months of my time trying to figure out the papers I needed and how to write it up. I truly wish I worked with Himani from the beginning. After submitting the greencard paperwork, the USCIS responded to our application in need of some documents and also needed me to rewrite some others properly. I was extremely nervous of messing up our last chance for getting the paperwork right to achieve the green card. That's when I called Himani a second time. Our case was quite rare since we were now looking to work with her after we had already submitted the documents ourselves. To our huge luck, she accepted our case to pick up where we left off and to clean up our mess! Wow! Did she and Chey ever do such a great job. Right away they communicated to us with extreme clarity. They let us know what we needed to do and what documents were necessary. She explained to us everything so clearly and helped us at every step. Any time we had a question, she and Chey were there to answer almost instantly. We had full confidence in them and we're so happy to have found them! They really have a great system set up for streamlining the process. I never want to gamble with such a fragile situation again. We learned our mistake and know that if we ever need an immigration lawyer in the future, we will go directly to Himani. She's truly a life saver and we're so lucky to be accepted by her. HIRE ANYONE BUT HER!! If I could give 0 stars I would. She takes your money, refuses to answer calls and emails, then keeps the original retainer and sends you an extra bill when you fire her and hire a competent attorney. I posted a negative review on the site "Avvo" about a year ago and see that it is not listed anymore- there are only 3 reviews and they are all 5 star. Hmmmm.
