Do not make the mistake and hire Audra Asher.🌈She will 100% do an incomplete investigation and steal your money.(FACT). She proposed to suspend my parental rights AND I HAD DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG TO MY CHILDREN. Looks like other MEN gave a 1 ⭐️. I’m Currently preparing a detailed proposal to the Kansas Disciplinary Committee. If Audra wants to propose to have my parental rights suspended for “Whatever reason”, I hope the Kansas Disciplinary Committee suspends her license for incompetence, diligence, and communication. Audra should not be treating fathers in a manner that she treated myself nor my children. Kansas attorney’s MUST follow Ethics and under Rule 226, 1.1, 1.3, and 1.4 she has failed miserably. Audra Asher knows that.. 1. Mother is on welfare and does not have a steady income and is not able to pay attorney fees. 2. I have a successful business in Texas, and able to provide for my children without welfare, and I am able to pay Attorney fees. Because of this Audra Asher decided not to do what was for “the best interest of the children” and instead take the mother’s side (Even with all of the criminal activity). Because Audra Asher knows that I will continue to fight for the best interest of the children, therefore, Audra thought she could make attorney fees from myself. Audra Asher knows that mother is not able to pay attorney fees. (Let’s take away the father’s rights, Because the father will pay to have his rights restored, Disgusting!) This is how Audra Asher Looks in a hearing “For the best interest of the children”. Stretched out T-shirt, sitting on a couch. Very unprofessional to say the least. Just a big fish and a small pond. Audra you owe me a refund! To be continued….

Please do not make the mistake i made by hiring Audra Asher, she is not professional has no integrity and will take your money tell you what you want to hear and then do nothing and then have her secretary tell you she will not do any of the filings you have contracted her for. I hired Audra to file 2 petitions with the state and county and she did not do then, i have email documentation of the many times i emailed her asking her of the progress i was met with with very short and kurt and unprofessional replies, SHe claimed to have been getting ready to file some probation papers for me with a judge on July 25th 2023 and i sent her two emails before that date asking about the status of the filing, I got two automated replies saying she was out of town, i sent a third email after the 25th asking what the status was and that it was unprofessional of her to not o what she said she was going to do and to not have replied to me, i was then ignored until early november when i tried to set a meeting with Don Anderson to inquire about the status of them filings, Don refused to see me and Audra had the secretary tell me she would not be working with me. Audra is so unprofessional she could not even tell me personally or send an email. I probably should have seen this coming because Audra was a terrible attorney for the charges i had, Audra missed a bail reduction hearing while i was in jail waiting for a trial. Audra seems to be too worried about being a part of the "Good Ole Boys Club" than she is being a good attorney that fights for her clients. it seems her strategy is to let you sit in jail until the Prosecutor gets bored. There was one gentlemen i was in jail with and he had been in jail for over a year waiting for Audra to actually do her job and get him released on a case and that had already been plea bargained out. Please avoid Audra Asher at all costs she will not fight for you, i think he only attribute is riding Don's coat tails, using his reputation to squeak by, her act of being cute and smiling for the judge and prosecutor is only going to be useful for anther couple of years at best.

I called and the woman that answered said that my boyfriend has to be charged with a crime and the Sheriff has his camera futidge and statements about the crime that the owner thinks that it's a crime and I wanted to talk to this Attorney and it's awful if you can't even talk to Donald Anderson because we want Employment Disagreements case, Defense Attorney, family Attorney and more but you can't even help anyone about that? Because the woman that answered the phone says that there isn't a case that they can't help anyone about unless he's charged with so crime and I really hope that Donald E. Anderson Attorney's can read this and understand that she has dismissed me about my boyfriends case.

  4. What is your approach to resolving cases like mine?
Learn about their strategy, whether they prefer negotiation, mediation, or litigation.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Great Bend, Kansas?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
