Michael did an excellent job representing me during my legal situation. Unlike other attorneys, Michael responds to phone calls and emails the same day, which is huge in my book. Michael was able to clearly explain what was going on with the case, what to expect and the direction he thought we should go all while getting a favorable outcome in court. Hired Mr. Hunter the day of court, gave him a brief run down of the ridiculous accusations my landlord was trying to evict me for, we were in court no more than 20 minutes and my landlords case was dismissed. I was able to remain in my home until it was time to renew my lease. This gave me and my family an additional 4 months to pack and find a new home home. Michael was quick and very knowledgeable with statutes. He was very professional and a great advocate for me! He should charge much more than he does, you will definitely get your money’s worth.

When Michael took my cases, my licence was suspended in Overland Park and Olathe. I had missed court for close to 6 months and had racked up 3 driving while suspended charges and a 30 over speeding ticket. Michael took care of the Olathe municipal within a few weeks. I had a driving while suspended and driving without insurance and after he got it moved to nothing but a fine. He even gave me a ride home when I locked my keys in my car! He helped me get restricted driving privileges so I could drive to work and school while I got back on track. In Overland Park Michael really proved his worth after fighting for a plea deal with the prosecutor in Overland Park. Once it was all said and done I served no jail time (pretty crazy considering I had gotten 3 DWS in under 1 year) and paid under $600 in fines. The day they dropped the suspension he drove me all the way to the DMV to get my licence. Michael is definitely one of the best affordable lawyers in Johnson County, and a good guy in general. Did I mention that at the time this was all happening I was 18 years old, seeking counsel without the help of my parents? Any selfish lawyer could have ripped me off easily. Overall, Michael is a funny, easy going guy that is passionate and serious about his work.

Mr. Hunter provided exceptional service and went above and beyond to save me trouble, time, and money in my dealings with the KCMO Municipal court! I was impressed by his professionalism and ability to adapt to changing circumstances. Would reccomend to anyone looking for a honest hard-working legal representative!

About a year ago, my landlord decided theu no longer wanted to renew a lease ,but the issue was that it had already started the new year when they changed their mind I contacted and consulted Michael . He assured me that I had did nothing wrong and not to worry , because I was in within the Landlord tenant laws . He helped me so much and I'm glad I went to a lawyer that cared and assured me it would be okay . Today I am still living at the address he helped me with.
