If you have but one choice for a divorce lawyer, it should be Josh Mathews and his team! I got slapped with divorce papers before I could turn around and catch my breath. I was hurt, anger, devastated but at 61, I wasn’t going to let this event define me. I search the internet, read the reviews, and looked at the results versus the hype. I picked Josh because the lion’s share of the reviews said he went the extra mile. I needed an advocate for my side. It wasn’t always easy Josh gives tough love. His frankness can seem harsh, but he explains why and goes into detail about the range of outcomes. His staff is exceptional. Particularly outstanding was Amber’s genuine concern, caring and commitment. She let me vent in daily emails, she called me on weekends if need be. Amber showed she cared. It was not some hyperbole of a slick ad like you see in another firm. It was honest, decent and although I didn’t always hear what I wanted, I heard what I needed. Josh has the money side of this mess, down to a science. I knew exactly what worse case, best case was and where I most likely would end up. In the end as one reads this, it is about results. Josh pulverized opposing counsel. He was prepared, organized and stayed on point. He clearly won the day. While the emotional toll isn’t something lawyers can help with, knowing I won’t continue to pay for something I didn’t really want (a divorce), I can go into another relationship with peace of mind. Mr Mathews did a great job at trial. he was up against a lawyer that likes to use false evidence. Mr Mathews was fast at getting the true facts out to the court. i am very happy on the job he and his staff have done.

If you are looking for an attorney in the Kansas/Missouri area, I highly recommend Joshua A Matthews. I hired him for my child custody case. He was the BEST lawyer I have ever worked with. Today ended a year of motions sent by my ex husband and his attorney. I came out winning every single thing that was important to me. I had to hug this man multiple times today for seeing me through two trials, a pre trial, and a lengthy deposition. I had no legal experience and knew so little about the law going into all of these proceedings, but Joshua is so intelligent, so skilled, and so capable of thinking and reacting effectively that I didn't need to worry. I lost sleep for nothing. He had it all under control today.
