My husband and I found ourselves in a very complicated removal proceedings situation which dragged on for 7 years in 3 different states. We worked with several lawyers throughout this process, but it was not until we met Mr. Baumgartner that we obtained a clear understanding of our situation, the full set of options available to us, and started to have hope for a positive resolution - which indeed came to fruition at our last court hearing through a complete dismissal of our case. It was very obvious from our very first conversation with Mr. Baumgartner that he stood out from everyone else we had worked with through his knowledge and expertise, professionalism, and his respectful, courteous manner. Not only did he not jump to conclusions (like other lawyers had in the past) and very patiently took the time to understand every single detail related to our case and research its implications, he also went above and beyond to build a flawless case for us (and even a Plan B and Plan C) to ensure a good outcome under any circumstances. We were also very grateful for his patient, thorough explanations whenever we had misunderstood a legal aspect which we inadvertently thought applied to our case. We were extremely impressed with his diligence, his constant research-based approach (as we came to understand that immigration law has many nuances, is open to interpretation, and is a "living" organism forever changing and expanding) and his adaptability and confidence in court when faced with unexpected situations (due to the court's failure to communicate their last-minute decisions to us). Even though our case ended up taking several years to complete due to the yearlong breaks in between hearings, Mr. Baumgartner consistently treated us with the same focus and consideration throughout this time and continued to put in a great deal of effort to ensure our success. We remain convinced that no one could have done a better job of representing us. We are beyond grateful and appreciative of everything Mr. Baumgartner has done for us!
