Robert is a big-picture business guy who happens to be a lawyer. Because of his background, he’s valuable as a strategist—not just a scrivener, and he’s as much attuned to the business issues as the legal ones. He always returns my calls and emails, he works fast, and he bills me a fraction of what they’d charge for an attorney like him at a big law firm—if you could even find an attorney like him at a big firm. He’s probably not the political schmoozer you’d hire to chase big government economic incentives, but he’s very effective in getting any deal done quickly and economically.

Robert has acted as my legal counsel for a wide array of situations over the last few years including the sale of a company. He has never been short of excellent. Well spoken, well versed and knows his way around the legal system.

I’ve worked with Robert on several large commercial real estate projects over the years, and on some simpler matters as well. He’s quick to draft, review and turn documents, and he has a practical approach to negotiations, focusing on the big issues, and not getting lost in a sea of “what ifs?” He’s got integrity, both with me and with the people we’re negotiating with. He’s organized and keeps me informed on the progress of matters, and his billing practices are reasonable.

I had a hernia mesh failure in 2016. I called Hollis and they requested medical records. They informed me they had accepted my case. They asked me to be patient and they would be in touch. I waited several months like a fool with no reply. I called them back several times asking for a callback from a lawyer or paralegal. Nobody ever called me back. Finally the receptionist told me my case was dropped. I never got a letter or an explanation. I feel like a piece of garbage.

I called to see if the firm would help me with a Hernia Mesh lawsuit and while i talked with tbe receptionist she became rude and hung up on me. I cant get the help if the receptionist hangs up. I am a nurse and a professional. I would reccomend if you want help...find another law firm.

I had Hernia Surgery 3 years ago. The mesh that was used failed with 4 months, 2 more incarcerated hernias, pain, nausea ect. Hollis Law Firm requested medical information from me. I filled out the medical information they requested I also sent all my Medical notes, Post and Pre surgery notes, Second opinions, Er Visits....they said they would make copies for me and mail the copies back. Hollis Law Firm accepted my case and I signed a contract agreement with the firm.They would receive 50% of the claim proceeds. Along the way, I received 3 more requests from Hollis Law Firm over the last year. Hollis Law Firm was requesting the same exact information.....with the exception of one question. 3 times they requested same information ,the name of surgeon, date, time of surgery, mesh kind and manufacturer, hospital, previous surgeries ect. I started to wonder....Why do they need the same information, it appears to me they never got started on my case...if they are asking for the same info over and over again. I expressed my concern and was told that they were working on my case and could not give me a reason why so many requests for the same exact information. I also asked about the copies they were to make and send back to me ....They said they could not find all my medical notes and receipts I sent them....They said they did not have it. Again, they accepted my case and I have been waiting a year....and was told this could take 5 years or so....That is fine I understand. I have serious pain and Hollis Law Firm accepted my case. Well, After a year, I received a letter from Hollis Law Firm last week that They will not be pursing my case. It is now too late for me to seek another firm because 3 years have passed.....time limit is up to file. They did nothing just sat on this case till it ran out of time....and never filed. I am currently seeking legal advice against this unprofessional Law Firm . I wonder if they are secretly working with the hernia mesh manufacturer. They said in the letter that the circumstances have changed??
