My wife and I had been through two lawyers, both of which let us down by giving bad advice and missing details that could have been fixed and helped our situation. I found Steve on this site, and based on his reviews decided to get a consultation. Honestly, I was so down about my case that I had almost no hope. By the time I left the consultation that had completely changed. Not only did he point out things my previous lawyers missed, but he also laid out his plan for the case with every possible scenario that could take place. I hired him that day, and regarding this matter it's the best thing that I had done. He has excellent communication skills. In the courtroom and in communications with the other party as well as the court he showed that he has a very deep knowledge for family law and would very politely point out where they would miss something with examples of case law to back him up. He was smooth in the courtroom. He never got intimidated or flustered. When he spoke it was obvious that the judge was listening and even learning things he didn't know. Steve also had great communication with my wife and I. That was important to us. We always knew what was going on and often times what was probably coming up. Probably the most important thing I liked about Steve is that he looked at both my wife and I and how this case affected us. My previous lawyers didn't want to even talk to her, which really upset her because she was affected by the case. Steve would often touch base with her if he knew I was busy to not only fill her in, but also check on her. He'd answer every question she had, which meant a lot to us.
