Met well in advance to discuss approach to handle case. He was understanding and acknowledged there were issues with the legal complaint, and how it relates to State Statute. I was informed he would get in contact with the opposition to see how we could proceed. During the whole ordeal, his paralegal receptionist was hostile to talk to. Being talked down to like a child is the last thing anyone wants to humble themselves in a situation like this. The day before final court appearance was finally contacted by his aide stating that Adamson had been busy with a higher case and that a continuance was not an option, to just deal with it at court. Two months was ample time to put together a strategy, with myself having to do all the homework. In a meeting prior to seeing the Judge, he began to read paperwork for the first time. Adamson was irritated that he was even there, and became aggressive with me. Acknowledging that he has more important cases to deal with, and if I want to play lawyer in "kangaroo court" proceedings go for it. Adamson was then fired in front of the Judge. Understanding that attorneys have quite a workload to juggle around is acceptable. However putting up with so much aggressive hostility from his receptionist and himself is not. Being unprepared and lack of diligent representation is unacceptable. This was my case, my time, and my rights. And yours too! Expect more than this sort of behavior.
