Avoid this attorney! Just another "shopping center" attorney. She lied to me more than twice. She misrepresented my position and failed to act as she said she would. She did not have my approval to agree to specific terms and the orders she prepared were loaded with errors causing additional conflict in an already high-conflict environment. Ultimately, she wound up professing her blossoming love for opposing counsel and shared confidential information with him. This one will waste your money and create more aggravation than any divorce is worth.

Lindsee Acton speaks from both sides of her mouth. Her advice was horrible and she often contradicted bad advice with different bad advice. In the end, I fired her after she exclaimed in a hearing how much she loved opposing counsel. The orders she prepared were inaccurate, using "and" when "or" should have been used. Sloppy work. Too busy. She seemed to forget who her client was. I hired her to eliminate the drama while every step she took only created unbearable additional drama. I decided I couldn't afford to pay for her mistakes and lack of concern for my family's outcomes.

Do not utilize their services!!! They scam you out of your money and then become unresponsive and unreachable.

I decided to ignore the reviews about Lindsee because she was so personable during the initial consultation. Unfortunately, my experience has mirrored so many others. She claimed to understand domestic violence and narcissistic abuse but failed to advocate for me when I needed it the most. Besides being unreachable the majority of the time, Lindsee also failed to adequately prepare for trial and practically forced a settlement. She told me I wasn't in a good position and would lose. I do believe that is true but due mostly to her lack of communication and preparation. When pressed on the issue, she threatened to withdraw. We were 3 days before trial. I agreed to the settlement and she stayed on my case until confronted with another issue. Now, she has submitted her withdrawal.

I had set up a consultation and they rescheduled at the last minute and then did not honor the new meeting time. So I called and it rang twice then went to voice mail. Not very professional. Good luck.

My experience with the firm was not ideal. Our initial consult was fantastic but sadly that’s the extent of it. Anytime I would call or email about the status of the divorce it seemed like I was a bother. However, it was the only way I could get any type of information from them. I had asked to sit down and meet with Lindsee several times to go over the settlement agreement and was never able to. Never even met her in person or even a zoom call to talk about anything. I was given papers with no type of counsel of what I was signing. In the end, I feel my experience was a waste of time and money. I received little help or guidance and would have been better off on my own.

Wow. I can't say enough good things about Scherich Family Law and Lindsee, specifically. I am going through a separation and really had no one on my side. I was about to agree to a lot of things that were definitely not in my interest. To be honest, I just wanted to get it over with. I reached out to Lindsee for advice. She was prompt, responsive, and the first person in the whole situation I felt like was truly on my side. She helped give me the knowledge and confidence to fight for what's mine. This whole process may end up going on for years but I plan on hiring Lindsee every single time I need help in this arena and I'll be recommending her to anyone else who needs the same kind of help.

If you want a lawyer that will fight for you, or will be there to give you other options. Someone who communicates and returns calls, speaks up at hearings for your case. Constantly informs you of things to come, treats you as if your case IS different. Gives other venues to explore, thinks outside the box. DO NOT GO HERE. We initially came up with a game plan for her to reset and make it her game plan. I was told if she didn't call me, nothing was happening but I was left wondering constantly. To answer any of my questions of course costs money. Her way to approach my case was to take all we had talked about and throw it out the window then proceed, her way. Going through an emotional experience at the same time as dealing with legal issues can be very draining. Working with Lindsee was just what I needed. In addition to her legal knowledge and expertise, the personal connection she made allowed me to see past the current situation and look forward to the completion of the legal process.
