With four (yes four) driving while suspended on my record, I dared not hope for a favorable outcome. Maybe it helped that I had moved out of state, not driven in nearly five years or that my tickets were all for minor(ish) infractions like failure to stop completely at a stop sign or expired tags. I cannot say. However, it was a great help to have a lawyer that I couldn't detect a hint of judgement in his voice and kept in contact with me via phone as the trial date drew near. Between himself and the prosecuting attorney, my charges were reduced to a first offense with a 90 day suspension. No jail time, no house arrest and the court costs were minimum. I can now look forward to a more productive future while getting my independence back. You can't put a price tag on independence. How lucky am I that I found Mr. McConnell, who ended up being extremely forthright and professional, while at the same time sensitive to my situation? I only wish that I had contacted him sooner.

Jon is a standup guy and an amazing attorney. I would recommend him to anyone, especially if there are high stakes against you. My entire career and future was on the line, and he worked with me all the way. He doesn't really sugar coat things, but he does offer great confidence and encouragement. He came through for me and now I'm able to get on with my life, thanks to him! His legal assistant Lisa is also very amazing, and is always on top of things. I even received a Christmas card from him.

A family member got arrested on a Saturday and we had no idea what was going on. A friend of mine suggested a lawyer who was jon McConnell and he had experience with defending clients with what he was accused of. He met with us on a Saturday evening and even went to harvey county jail that evening before he had gotten paid and found out what was going on. Our family member was very scared and jon let him know that he was going to help him. So on Monday we patiently waited to see what charges were going to be made and what bail would be set at. He did not go in front of the judge till Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. then the judge refused to set bail and then Jon had to get involved and tell the courts that it was against Kansas law. We got him out the next day. Charges were dropped a week before the preliminary hearing. I can't explain in words how it feels to know that he will not have to spend time in prison for something he did not do. I am glad that the truth came out and that he didn't have to go through a trial to prove his innocence.
