This was the worst experience of my life. I was going through a very very rough time with my divorce and there was absolutely no compassion, empathy, or kindness expressed. I wasted so much money and the best thing I did was change attorneys. The office staff was the worst and all they did was blame the issues on me. Worst ever.

Kristina and her equally fabulous assistant, Kelly, Having an attorney who will respond to your emails? And calls? All within business hours? Worth their weight. And their retainer. I have passed her name on to many friends. Compared to my ex's attorney? She blew her out of the water. Experience is worth its value. And Kristina and Kelly are worth it all.

Kristina closed my divorce in 2019, after taking over for another attorney who I felt didn’t protect me and my children properly. She understood how much money I had already spent during the 2.5 year long battle, so she really ended things swiftly for me as to avoid more legal fees. She is respected in and out of the courtroom, I believe due to her integrity. I really appreciate her kindness and wisdom, and I’m so thankful I got a resolution quickly and she was the one to help me get there.

Kristina was phenomenal to work with. My situation was emotional and stressful. I started my process with a different lawyer who didn't listen to me and made my situation worse. I found Kristina and she literally saved the day. She was available for phone calls at the drop of a hat and completely supported me. She listened to my whole story, answered all my questions, and addressed all of my concerns. I had complete confidence in her. If Kristina wasn't available, Kelly would contact me in her absence. Kristina was wonderful! After 13 years of marriage and 4 children, there was a lot to sort through. She made everything so clear, quick, and easy to do. I felt confident and well taken care of through the whole process! Her experience, advice, and promptness were invaluable.

My wife wanted a divorce after 25 years of marriage. Ms. Retzlaff was a beacon of hope and sage-like knowledge, guiding me through the process with a calm, nurturing presence. She did a great job of allowing me to decide exactly how I wanted to go forward, while providing a non-assertive set of guideposts to keep me from self-harm through emotional/irrational actions. Being my first time experiencing anything requiring an attorney, she and her assistant (Ms Orloske) made me feel very comfortable, like I was with friends who were genuinely looking out for my well-being. As I interacted with them, it felt like I was visiting with close friends or even family. I enjoyed working with her so much, that I wish I could keep her on retainer for all future legal issues of any kind!

Kristina was excellent. She is organized. She communicates directly. But unlike some direct confident people, she's also a focused and compassionate listener. She gave me good advice during a very stressful time - legal as well as general life advice. She was very open about what "could happen" but also careful to delineate what she expected in my particular case. Her email responses were prompt, and there seemed to be good communication between herself and Kelly (as well as other staff) about my case. She preemptively let me know how Christmas holidays would affect our communication and paperwork, which was critically helpful. I am so glad I had her as a lawyer and would completely retain her services again.
