After 3yrs my attorney informed me that my case had been dismissed because he failed to meet a deadline and did not know the guidelines for my continued treatment in the state we were stationed in. I asked specifically if us being stationed in another state had any effect on my treatment or case and they said no. Then my attorney calls to tell me that I can't even file an appeal because he missed the deadline for the appeal. I went over 2 months with no return phone call or emails, asking for updates. I received paperwork that was time sensitive, last minute. Then had to over night it from Alaska (which no carrier can offer overnight due to distance). I had several different legal assistants, who I primarily worked with over the attorney, because "they can not seem to keep one" (per the words of the attorney). Very disappointed and would not recommened.

I have had a very good experience with them so far. My case is still ongoing but they have always kept in touch with me and keep in contact to check on my Dr appointments and things like that.

They take 3 times more then u get but ur the one hurt and u do a lot of there work

Very sorry lawyers .... To big a firm and that means case overload don't respond back and always make excuses go with a smaller firm who will try harder and work harder for you

Nobody does anything. They work with workman's comp against you. THEY DO NOTHING. my husband was hit in the head with a backhoe bucket. It's been 6 years. No pain management doctor. No checks. But 2 since Christmas. Been calling my attorney going o 2 weeks

I was was very happy with my experience and am blessed to have had such caring staff. Terry Houchin has been there for me every step of the way. Terry was hands on with all my issues. i was very pleased.

1 starHughes & Coleman seemed to look only for a quick payout and do not want to fight for a claim. They never once physically saw my mother who suffers from what is considered an Invisible Disease meaning you cannot see it like as if you were missing a limb for example. All they wanted her to do was go to the doctor monthly when the doctors have flat out told my mother that there is nothing they can do for her at this time. Unless you have something everyone can see don't bother using Hughes & Coleman. I cant personally say that all their attorneys were bad at their jobs but I can say that Robyn Ryan who was assigned to my mother case was. Robyn never once made contact herself only the paralegals who I do have to say we're very polite and understanding. The only thing Robyn would have done is send paperwork for me to complete on my mother behalf that was the same paperwork I filled out when they were first hired, Robyn sent out the paperwork three times. Robyn never fought for my mother to be seen by a doctor that represents disability. Robyn did however send a termination of service letter stating that after reviewing my mothers documents she concluded there is nothing wrong with her. Last time I checked a doctor had to make that call. My mother is in a wheelchair because she has lost the ability to walk but yes there is nothing wrong with her Robyn. Thank you for nothing. This is why injury/disability attorneys get the reputation they have of ambulance chasers and are known to only look for big payouts.
