They are horrible they did a deed on are home and it's all messed up and they won't fix it I had 2 questions to ask and I wouldn't be in there office not even 5 minutes they said that it would be 250 dollars to talk or ask those 2 questions

All around terrible experience through legal aid. My case drug out for over a year with so many errors in communication throughout. I had a simple custody case and she did not write up the order as discussed, was impossible to get ahold of via phone and also difficult via email. She ended up closing out my case before anything was finalized due to her “not hearing back from me.” She was not helpful with advising/providing legal counsel and appeared almost annoyed in her demeanor during the 2 in office visits with her.

Eph Helton is over rated, me and my Fiance went and had a consultation with him a while back concerning child custody/Family court over my fiances daughter. He was rude and had the attitude like he couldn't even understand why we were even in his office, and the whole time we was there he was taking up for the opposing side we were up against, and said nothing could be done. Needless to say after we left we contacted another law firm and that law firm got my fiance sole custody of her daughter !!!

I'm just a few months short of a year and I've paid half of what the total cost of the case was. I haven't spoken to this lawyer but the one time. I can never get a response n nothing has yet to be filed on my case! This is just beyond crazy to me I even referred my sister when I first hired her n she handled her case badly. Do not waste your time or money

Knowledgeable & friendly attorneys—until you pay. You will constantly be told “your attorney is in court,” and directed to their voicemail. Do not expect your phone calls to be returned. If your looking for legal representation that keeps in-touch—look past Helton Walter & Associates.
