I have had experiences with my share of attorneys, but I was so impressed by this mans willingness to assist me with my questions related to a complex custody matter. He gave me his best! Without a fee! At the end of our conversation, I asked what I owed him and I was expecting it to be at least a fee for a hour of his time, but he asked that I only write a review, so in keeping my word here it is, with gratitude for giving his time. Great man great advice.

Mr. Bates doesn’t show up to half of scheduled court dates. Continuously violates attorney-client privilege and is discriminative in representation. He will drain you of funds that are not justified.

I hired him for a dui case and never got the case resolved. He told me to cash app him the money to start my case and I sent the money only to be told months later he never received the money yet me transactions show he did. $850 just gone and wasted. Criminal attorney? More like criminal... I would never recommend him to anyone!! And it's kind of funny that it's not your account yet when I put your number in to send the money to you bait Law Office Elizabethtown is what popped up but that's not your account okay but whatever you say and I did show you proof that I sent the money I screenshot it from my end and sent it to you so I mean that right there is proof that I sent it to you but I guess that you needed that money more than I did huh you know I mean I barely make it as it is and that $850 was not really something that I had extra but I wanted to get my life back on the right track and thanks to you didn't happen but hey man you enjoy that $850

He's an amazing lawyer. He listened to me and what my needs were and he went forward when almost no other lawyer in Hardin Co would. He believed in me and that meant the most

I called and after a few questions I was able to consult with Mr.Bates. He listened intently and patiently, and then spent a impressive amount of time going over potential courses of action with a detailed description of the possibilities each direction may present. He honestly told me that he might not be geographically the best option for me but upon request gave me a rough idea of cost and reassured me that if I decided to hire him he would do his best to make sure I was properly represented. I have to say I didn't expect the thorough attention and time he gave and because of that I would definitely recommend this firm.

Contacted Bates Law Office initially because he offered a free 15 minute consultation. He was very open and willing to share his knowledge regardless of wether we hired him or not. He was very reassuring regarding the whole matter. He's experienced and knowledgeable about legal proceedings and even the other people(judges, attorneys) my daughter would encounter and interact with along the way. He seems to really enjoy his work and does it well. I developed confidence in him and in the end, he managed to have my daughter's case dismissed. He made every aspect of the whole process easy. I will recommend him to anyone that needs a good lawyer!
