I have known Melissa in her capacity as a family lawyer for over a year now. She is one of the most honest and forthright people I know. She cares about people and their concerns. My divorce was a HUGE step for me after 15 years of marriage and two little boys. Melissa was flexible in working around my teaching and parenting schedule. When we met on several occasions, she thoughtfully listened, and told me if they were realistic expectations. I never felt rushed in her presence and she walked me through the divorce process explaining what would happen next. She always e-mailed me rough drafts to look through when I had time, give feedback, and we always had thoughtful discussions. I appreciated her time, flexibility, and knowledge. I would recommend her to my friends and family if they needed an attorney in her field.

My husband and I had a lot of issues with the care of our kids with the other family. Melissa was incredibly realistic with us and she also was very passionate about our case.
