While I wish I could recommend Pharr Law Group, my experience was not a positive one. I used them via OffTheRecord.com and found their communication to be greatly lacking. Firstly, I was told that Attorney Pharr would contact me himself right after the case was accepted and he never called me. Throughout the case, I had to follow up with them 2,3, 4 times before getting a response most of the time. At the conclusion of the case, I was told they would set up a call with me to talk over the hearing I had to attend with the KYDOT and I reached out 3 times and never heard anything. Eventually I was luckily given probation, but by no benefit of their firm.

Hands down 5-star attorney. Earlier this year (2024) my world was turned upside down without notice. My wife and I were simultaneously issued felony citations involving firearms by the KSP for an alleged crime we were accused of committing. I honorably served 31 years in the US military and have been in situations where I was truly scared. Facing a felony charge was inconceivable. I’m a professional with an honorable reputation. I have a family, a farm, a career to protect! All of this was immediately in jeopardy. The trooper who issued the citations simply said, “You need an attorney.” I immediately started looking for a seasoned criminal attorney to represent us. Jeff Shipp handled my SSDI claim. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the process. He gently guided me through understanding my part in it. It played out exactly as Jeff predicted. I was told that since I had a very rare disorder, I would be denied in the paperwork review process, but once we were finally in front of a judge, I would be awarded my SSDI. He also told me how long it would take. It was nearly 3 1/2 years -- entirely Social Security's fault -- not Jeff's. Jeff comes across as the friendly, down-to-earth Kentucky farm boy that he is -- until you see him interact with the judge -- then all of his knowledge and experience shows.

I contacted Mr Janes about a collection issue I was having with my business. Mr Janes promptly did some investigating, got all the facts, contacted the person in question and the issue with a non payment was resolved quickly and efficiently.
