I spoke with several lawyers before Carol Risk. She returned my call promptly and her rates were within reason. She scheduled a time to meet several days later regarding my divorce. She was very thorough and explained how certain information would protect me in the future even if I did not see a need for it now. Better save now than sorry later. I really wanted to have the divorce completed by the end of the year. Carol Risk called me personally on the morning of Christmas Eve to inform me the judge had signed the papers and the divorce was final, giving me a new start with a new year. The experience gave her the knowledge and understanding of what I could realistically anticipate to be awarded. My ex was voluntarily underemployed.
