Derrick is outstanding at his job. Unlike other times I've needed representation from other lawyers, for different and same reasons (in different states), when working with Derrick, I always felt reassured and confident that we were going to beat the charge. Excellent about phone communication - well-before, during, and after our trial dates...which the entire fiasco took nearly 8-10 months to resolve. I could tell that the judge was very impressed with him, and that the DA and arresting officer didn't really have a leg to stand on when we finally went to our jury trial. I'd been under the impression that an elder, very experienced and well-known lawyer would be in anyone's best interest. But not anymore! This young, professional, family man is The Man! And I can only imagine where his bright future will lead him and his family, and team. If I ever again get wrongly convicted of a DUI, I hope it's in The People's Commonwealth of Kentucky, where the fine locals and jurors are quick to see what's going on and to help the system of justice for those of us who are innocent.
