My firm has hired Mr. Hamblin in several mediations over the years and he has always treated the participants fairly, politely, and firmly, when needed. He has not always been able to bring the parties to an amicable resolution, but he has been able to recognize when it is futile and time to go home. Mr. Hamblin has a very genuine way with people that has been effective in bringing the parties together whenever they were reasonable enough to listen.

I have known Mr. Hamblin since he taught me Litigation Skills while I was at the University of Kentucky College of Law. Since then, I have mediated countless cases with him, both those that have been in litigation for many years, and more recently, in mediations conducted prior to a lawsuit being filed in an effort to reach an early resolution that will avoid litigation. His understands people, the law, venue, juries and judges which makes his credibility unassailable. He appeals to all parties because he is the quintessential gentleman, but always ready to roll up his sleeves and perform the sometimes exhausting work of breaking the log jam that is inevitably reached in high exposure/high emotion cases.
