Attorney Matthew Lindblom entered my life in 2016 when I transferred a contractual lawsuit from one state (where I won my judgment) to another. The lawsuit had been a long, grueling, and punishing event; however, now came the most difficult part of all: collecting my judgment. I had a consultation with Matt and was impressed with his confidence, intelligence, and ability to communicate in a personal and caring manner. He is thoroughly centered on his clients' words and listens to everything that is said. He will even repeat things in an unobtrusive way to make sure everything is correct and understood. Matt's practice habits are the same whether he is in court or out of court. His unbelievable preparation is very evident in the motions made and paperwork written which were always presented before the deadline date to the courts. In addition, one of the defendants decided to file for bankruptcy while all of my other court deadlines were being addressed by Matt. So now, he also had a bankruptcy case to prepare. My case became more laborious here than it had ever been in my previous state, but through it all, Matt's demeanor remained the same. Even during my periods of doubt, he never allowed someone in his office to return my calls; he always returned then himself in a very timely fashion and always calmed my jittery nerves. Over the past few years, Matt and my family have become friends. Two months ago, my husband and I experienced a family tragedy. As a result, Matt sent us a beautiful plant and still calls us "just to check in." I would without any hesitation refer Matt as an attorney to my family, friends, neighbors, or anyone needing an honorable, ethical, well-informed, and exceptional attorney.

I consulted with Matthew about a residential foreclosure, and I hired another attorney. His demeanor is casual and friendly, and he's knowledgeable in his field, but there were several moments throughout our discussion that were questionable, at best. He advised that I file Chapter 13 bankruptcy instead of pursuing other options. Another attorney estimated the equity in my home, factored in the homestead exception, encumbrances, etc., and recommended filing Chapter 7. Instead of a drawn-out (and expensive) litigation, my attorney notified the lender of my intent, and they agreed to accept reduced partial payments based on my credit history. Not only did I NOT have to file for bankruptcy, but the lender also waived $18,000 to avoid the delinquent property tax liens. Now I know to think twice after a consultation before basing my case on the reputation of the law firm itself.

Atty Lindblom was excellent. He surprisingly responded to my email one evening and offered to speak with me the next day. His response was timely and extremely helpful in me making my business decision. Even further, he detailed the economics of my deal and offered options that considered my financial commitment instead of just looking to "make a dollar off of me." Well done and definitely someone I will work with and highly recommend.

I hired Mr. Lindblom to help me draft a lease and seek past due monies from renters. He called me frequently and kept me updated on the progress he had made getting these issues resolved. He also gave me options for moving forward and let me decide the best course of action for my personal situation.
