I have used the services of the local Legal Aid Society before with success. They were not in a position to help me with my current issue, however I did receive a call back promptly after I had reached out for assistance. *Note: They do respond quicker to online request.

All of the 4 and 5 star reviews are fake. These people are rude, unhelpful, treat you like you're stupid. It's like a bad episode of the Twilight zone and you're in a world where everyone thinks you can't understand them unless they repeat themselves 5 times in a row. Useless waste of time.

The person or lawyer who pre-judged me to asked me about my concern was arrogant and treated me unfairly. I ended up calling the Code Enforcement office, and they came to assist me in finding my complaint. It was a safety issue, and I was justified. I need legal counsel because my tenant rights were violated.
