Tracey charged me a one time flat fee for finishing my divorce after my first attorney was appointed judge and forced to close his practice before the hearing he filed for me for. I PAID HER $750 to finish my divorce. I was already scheduled for a hearing my previous attorney filed for. I drove 2 hours to court November 15th. The hearing was supposed to be at 11:45. Myself, my dad and ex were all waiting and my dad and I chasing my 1 year old around right in front of the door. I text her at 11:15 and let her know I was there to the right of the elevators. She acknowledged my presence. No one ever called our names. We were told by the Sherrod that Tracey didn't even appear, that she sent someone else. I PAID HER the $750 2 weeks before my hearing so she could sign on as attorney of record. I called and called and texted and texted. She cut her phone off on me. we finally left. I didnt recieve a call back from her until an hour after i left. She told me the judge passes over my case and She would have to file a new hearing. 3 weeks go by and She had still done NOTHING! I finally had a falling out with her after many texts and emails asking for a new date... or a refund of my money...in which she stated she owed me no refund, that $750 was only 3.5 hours of work and She owed me nothing else. Telling me I would lose my money if I found another attorney and to jet her finish the case. A few days go past and I finally get an email saying a new date had been scheduled for December 11th at 11:30am. I messaged her and asked her if I needed to be there in person and She told me no. Stating she would call me on speaker in court. The day before court I messaged her after I got off of work asking if my ex's pending criminal charges would help us win the sole custody... no answer. The morning of court.. (yesterday) I messaged her askingvthat she call my other phone number while in court, provided the number... no response... I again messaged her letting her know I was waiting on the call. NOTHING. No message back. No return call or email saying anything!!! I go ahead to work and get off around 8pm and called her from a different number to see if she would answer and tell me what happened at court... she answers that different number, once I identify myself she hangs up on me. 10 minutes later she emails me saying that she's terminating counsel and withdrawing from the case. Unasked for my money back since she didn't do anything my first lawyer didn't already do and the case was no further along then when she started... She at that time changed up the position saying that my $750 was now only covering 3.5 hours of work. And that my money was used up with her time. Come to find out she didn't even show up to the hearing on the 11th at 11:30. Heather and derwin had already done all of the research in the case and filed all of the motions and therefore she didn't have to do anything but show up. Do not pay this woman your money. She didn't show up, did Nothing in my case, and doesn't communicate! She basically scammed me for $750 promising services she never rendered!!!

Ms. Davis was consulted on a family law issue, involving minor children that were temporarily placed in states' custody following unsuccessful attempts to locate the absent parent. She was able to quickly point out where the ball was dropped, avoid multiple court dates, and spare those children unnecessary time spent in the foster system.
