I cannot possibly express enough gratitude and thankfulness for Ms. Howell and her level of expertise, professionalism, and ability to deliver on all of the areas she promised she would. After reading all of the previous reviews and speaking with several different attorneys Ms. Howell stood out far above the rest in every area! She replied to my initial email within minutes and answered all of my questions, concerns, and made me feel more than comfortable with the upcoming mediation case between my sons mother and I. Courtney Howell and her assistant, Debra, did an excellent job of helping my wife and I adopt our grandson. I talked to several attorneys before deciding to go with Courtney. She explained the adoption process and simplified it much more than other attorneys. Throughout the entire process Courtney and Debra did everything we needed and made the entire process trouble-free. I can't thank them enough and can't imagine anyone doing a better job.

Where so I start? My relationship with this firm started in August 2020, specifically Courtney Howell-Freeman. I had just relocated to Kentucky from California and was starting in a post divorce custody battle when I found this firm. I had my first consultation via Zoom (middle of Covid)and I was sold. She was extremely professional and seemed to genuinely care about my situation. She was up front with me and she informed me this would take a while but we'd get through it. Here I am 23 months later and I feel like me and my children have won our independence. Courtney was quick to respond to all questions and concerns, she was very honest with me at all times and I listened to her and did what she told me to do. I also have ,a few times, dealt with Bronson Howell, in Courtney's absence. This firm saved me and my children....literally. This was not only a custody case which basically turned into a nuclear war, it was also a relocation case. My children were being abused and neglected. I was frustrated at times at how slow the court moves but Courtney has been there to offer calming reassurance. This place is worth every cent I paid. There's a reason a good lawyer is expensive, the service they provide is invaluable and I would do it again in a heartbeat. My children have officially been rescued and we won our relocation case. I couldn't have done it without the help of this firm and specifically Courtney because this fight was so much more horrific than how it started . I am so thankful she popped up on here. After almost 2 years, we've got our lives back and we can finally breathe and move forward. If you're looking for a serious, professional attorney who will fight for you, this is the place. Without them, I don't think this would have had such a happy ending. I definitely recommend this firm.

Great service

I can’t recommend Courtney enough! She helped us through the adoption process from start to finish including ICPC and a very challenging and unhelpful birth parent lawyer. She advocated for us and reassured us throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond more times than I can count. She even set everything up for us in the sending state since that attorney refused. She did so many things to ensure a successful adoption and met every deadline along the way. She’s extremely responsive via email and just wonderful to work with. I recommend Courtney to every potential adoptive parent I can. If you want someone who advocates for you and gets stuff done quickly and easily - it’s Courtney!

You won't find a kinder person! Courtney worked with my husband and me while we went through the process of him adopting my daughter. She is very professional and extremely responsive to emails/texts. She contains so much knowledge, and made the adoption go very smoothly. We also had a court date much sooner than we ever expected.
