We first retained this firm in the summer of 2022. At the beginning, we were very happy with our experience. They were responsive and helped us understand the process. The transmission in our minivan, the only vehicle we have that can transport our family of six safely, had to be completely replaced which required us to take out an emergency loan. We were hoping to use our tax return to pay back a majority of this loan. We were told at the beginning that we may be able to retain our tax return for such emergency situations upon petition to the bankruptcy trustee. We emailed (ironically) the "VIP" email address and did not receive a response until a week later after I copied two other people in the firm, including a partner. Then, the person who we talked to dismissed us saying that we could only file such a petition for "medical expenses", which contradicted what we were told originally and also directly contradicts information found on their own website: "...[I]f your car breaks down and needs significant repairs or if a member of your family has a health issue that necessitates increased medical bills, you might be able to get your refund waived." As a former paralegal with close to 10 years of experience, who was responsible for client contact and helping clients navigate the intricacies of their cases and providing them with accurate and reliable information in a timely manner, I am deeply frustrated and dissatisifed with this experience. I thought I had done my due diligence in researching firms to assist us with our bankruptcy, but it is clear I made a mistake. I would not recommend as things stand currently. UPDATE: The day after posting this, the firm did reach out to us to apologize for the miscommunications/misunderstandings, and worked with us to get a pleading filed. I do appreciate the effort made to fix the situation. I just wish it didn't have to come down to having to leave a negative review, multiple emails, and an angry phone call before anyone took the time to listen to us.

This experience has been opposite of the fears i had about going bankrupt. It was the most uncomplicated experience ever. The staff made me feel so supported took all the fears aways. This company was a God send in my time of need, and I always be thankful!
