We had a very good experience. Everyone took time and care to return calls and share progress. They all seemed to really care about me.

My wife was hit by a car while jogging on our street in 2016. Though initial injuries were not evident, they appeared later. She encountered 2 subsequent surgeries to repair a twisted bowel and for months, it disrupted our lives rather significantly with her experiencing pain, nausea, and other issues associated with being hit by a vehicle. The driver's insurance company was Kentucky Farm Bureau. Of course, their job is to pay as little as possible once this ordeal ended. They didn't disappoint. Their offer was a fraction of what the medical bills were. On a chance encounter, my wife ran into Darrell Isaacs at a Dr. appointment and the two of them discussed her situation. Soon after, we contacted their office and launched the case. Initially, we went through every detail, every possibility, and covered all aspects of possible outcomes. We are detail oriented people and we left no stone unturned. KFB made a follow up offer some months later, but it was deeply insulting. At this point, we knew we were headed into litigation. Walter Hawkins became our litigation attorney and instantly, we knew we were in good hands. Walter and his paralegal worked diligently on our case, pursued every angle, and kept us in the loop at all times. At no time did we ever feel worried or question their motivation. The message from Walter was always clear, concise, and prompt. Even during the deposition, he made several re-directions of the defendant's testimony that actually strengthened our case and I'm confident that was the point in which KFB knew that going to trial was not in their best interest. In the end, we agreed to mediation and I'm proud to say that Walter was able to get THREE TIMES the amount that was originally offered to us by the insurance company. I would highly recommend Isaacs and Isaacs and most importantly, Walter Hawkins as your attorney if you have to go to trial!!
