Mr. Cook was able to get my bond originally set at $20,000 cash, reduced to a signature bond in a matter of seconds. I was out the same day I hired him and cut loose with a smack on the wrist. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I would advise people not to consider hiring John Cook of Shepherdsville Kentucky for legal representation. Before working on a love one's case he requested a deposit. He never once called or visit his client before the pretrial. Just a few hours before the Federal Hearing he decided that he was no longer going to take the case, leaving his client without representation. As well as, refuses to return the deposit. Words of advise look for another attorney this one is neither professional nor trustworthy.

Unfortunately, Mr. Cook makes promises to clients that he is unable to keep. I hired him for the sole purpose that he agreed to a set fee of $750 that he said would be sufficient to take a misdemeanor case from arraignment to trial. When he realized the prosecution was unprepared on the trial date, he stood by and allow them to get a dismissal without prejudice, with full knowledge that they would refile the case. It was my request that he do a trial, but he insisted upon just allowing them to dismiss it. They did in fact refile the exact same case within hours, and at this point, Mr. Cook demanded an additional $3000 to continue with the case. I feel that Mr. Cook made promises that he couldn't keep, and effectively ripped me off in the process since I would have certainly went with another attorney had he not assured me that the entire case would only cost $750.
