Before I met Linda Melancon, I already had a will and trust in place from other attorneys. Yet I didn't feel that I had exactly what I wanted in a trust for my daughter. My life circumstances had changed, and for other reasons I felt a need to start over. When I met Linda, we discussed my assetsand my daughter's possible needs in the future, and I felt that Linda knew exactly how to proceed. Now that the documents are in place, I feel at peace with the results and can go on with the rest of my life knowing that my daughter's financial future is taken care of and that she will have the continued guidance of Linda and her team. Linda and her staff are highly professional, competent, warm and caring. I recommend them highly.

My husband and I decided to get our estate planning done after the passing of my dad in 2022. We have two small kids so we wanted to make sure they would be provided and have as little “unknowns” as possible. Linda and her team were great. They helped us understand LA succession laws and laid out scenarios for what would happen if either me or my husband (or both of us) passes away. They helped us understand Living Trusts and helped us set one up for our children. They took care of EVERYTHING. It was such a relief knowing everything is taken care of. As an added bonus while dealing with my dads estate (in a different state) I was able to ask Linda and Jennifer questions about succession in another state and they were eager to help me understand and provide guidance. We also contacted them about 2 years later for additional information/paperwork needed for how the trust was set up. I personally felt like they dropped what they were doing to help me and provide me with what I needed. Absolutely the best customer service! At the time, I also felt the price was very reasonable. There are different prices depending on your needs and I never felt pressure to get more than what we needed.

I wanted to redo my will and at the same time create a trust so my daughter would not have to go through probate. A friend recommended Linda Melancon to me and from my first visit with her and her entire team I knew I was in good hands. Our dad’s succession was handled by Betty Raglin, Attorney. Our family was in the unfortunate situation with all siblings and our mom with dementia no longer residents of Louisiana. Ms Raglin was able to successfully complete dad’s succession over the telephone and online. She and her staff are very competent and professional.

Linda and her team were great to work with when we decided to update our estate documents and set up a trust. She took the time to thoroughly understand our needs and wishes, then reviewed our options. Her staff was very patient in helping us get everything organized to complete the process. Everything was completed within a couple of months and now we have peace of mind for a lifetime.

For years I wanted to prepare a will. For some reason I was scared to death. maybe it was fear I would die before the Living Will got signed. I liked that I was able to call and speak to someone on the phone. She answered a lot of my questions. When I meet with Linda and her staff they made me feel very much at ease. Linda and her staff made the process of drafting a will so easy. She helped guide us through our goals and wishes as a young family to ensure our children would be taken care of and our assets would flow smoothly in the event of a death. It's not the most pleasant subject matter to tackle, and I think most people avoid it out of fear. I cannot recommend them enough. We were able to get a will, trust, power of attorneys, living will...etc all as a flat rate package. No hidden fees, no run-around. Just straight forward, professional guidance. It feels good to have that squared away for our family.
