I attended an Estate and Life Planning workshop conducted by Losavio and DeJean, LLC. I went in not knowing what was involved in Estate Planning. After the session was completed, I left with the knowledge that I would ask Peter Losavio to be the lawyer for me and my family. I was impressed with his staff and the way they took messages and always answered the phone promptly. The experience of working with Pete Losavio was a pleasant one. He always talked to us, never at us. He not only answered our questions, but included all the other issues we should be aware of and addressed them. There was never anything left on the table, not discussed and attended to. It is not difficult to understand why Pete Losavio is considered one of the top 100 Super Lawyers in Louisiana for Elder Law. It's a privilege to recommend him to anyone seeking the best lawyer there is. His knowledge and respect for the law is apparent. After leaving his office with all of our paperwork completed and the knowledge that we can call him anytime with questions is a peaceful feeling. It is comforting to know I have our eatate planning taken care of for my children, (I know their dad in heaven is too). I feel that I was part of a team with a great lawyer and we had completed a job well done.

We hired Pete to do our estate planning and he and his staff did an amazing job. They prepared wills, living wills, advanced medical directives, powers of attorney, and set up an investment trust and a residence trust. All work was very professional and done quickly. We had a minor glitch with our bank but Pete and his staff went out of their way to fix the problem at no additional charge. We were always treated with courtesy and respect and would recommend them for anyone who might need to do estate planning.

I can truly say that I don't know what I would have done without Mr. Losavio during the last years of my parents lives. I hired Mr. Lovavio several years ago to create a special needs trust. I am so appreciative of his help through that difficult time. He has continued to be my lawyer and I have never once regretted that decision. His knowledge enables him to create and offer options that are best for you as an individual. He communicates with language that is understandable and he welcomes your questions. He actually enjoys talking with you and helping you. Kind is a word that immediately jumps to mind. Mr. Losavio assisted us in preparing a Special Needs Trust for a workers' compensation case. He prepared the documents quickly, answered all of our questions and provided us with easy to understand handbook for future reference.

Very knowledgeable concerning the requirements for Medicaid. With his help I was able to qualify my wife with dementia for Long Term Care in a very good assistant living facility. He also provided excellent financial advise for my current and future assets. He is very easy to talk to and understand.
