Tommy Gibbs has been my family attorney since 2007 and still is today and always will be, if needed in the future. People that write bad reviews, but give no valid concrete examples or explanations to their complaints typically stems from their frustration on not getting what they wanted or how they wanted the outcome to be, and they don’t understand that laws are in place that no attorney can change, they are there to get you to a fair comfortable and amicable position despite certain laws that hinder people from getting what they “feel” they should not what the law allows. It doesn’t work that way. Family law is very structured and its not changing. The attorney isn’t there to change laws for you bc they don’t have the authority to but to make the best possible agreement that benefits all parties in relation to the laws that govern what you can and cannot do. They are not magicians, they help put you in a better position and do all the paperwork and negotiate for you and WAY better than you would representing yourself. I recommend Mr. Gibbs to everyone, definitely a lawyer for life!!!

This guy is a lying clown! He will take your money and do nothing. He has many bar complaints check for yourself.

I was involved in a very long custody battle. I was in nursing school and raising 2 children by myself. Mr. Gibbs knew I had little money, but he chose to take my case, knowing it would be long and involved. My ex husband only took one child, he felt that way he would not have to pay child support, if we each had a child. It was all about the money. I was given Mr. Gibbs name by another attorney, who told me that he was a very ethical and compassionate attorney. He was, and more. He knew I had little finances to work with, but he tirelessly worked on my case. He met me before his offices hours started, at 7 am many days a week. we went to court every month for a year, and he was there, for a full day, prepared and ready to argue my case. And he did a great job. To this day, I still cry when I think what could have been. It was a blessing when I was sent to Mr. Gibbs. The only money I had was given to an unscrupulous attorney, who took my savings and did absolutely nothing for my case. Mr. Gibbs knew this, but immediately went to work on my case, spending hours, nights and early morning time to help me with my son. My son was 8 years old then; he is now the Vice President over several banks. I became a nurse and now I am a nurse practitioner, helping other single mothers. None of this would be possible without Thomas Gibbs. he never sent me a bill. When I asked him how I would pay him, he told me " be a good nurse." And I did, because he made it possible for me, my son, and my daughter to give back in kindness, what he gave to me. Morals, ethics, and advocate... those are attributes you think of when you think of a nurse...those attributes also describe Mr. Gibbs. But there are two that truly describes him...Kindness and compassion. I wholeheartedly recommend him and will always be thankful for the generosity and compassion he showed my family.

Thomas Gibbs was on it with my divorce. It was an easy process bc we agreed on everything and filed papers. After agreement wasnt met he went to bat for me again. He was a no nonsense or drama lawyer. And definitely knows exactly what he is doing! Highly recommend!

I am completely with everybody else. This man is a thief! 17 years ago he was my attorney when I was at the ripe age of 19 years old. Thankfully my parents completely helped me out when I was so young and got into trouble, however this man never followed through with what he said he was doing and 17 years later it is coming back to haunt me! Receipts of money orders and paper work were all kept and prove what was never followed through with and now he wants $650 for going to the court house and retrieving a document. After all he took from my parents. He totally took advantage of someone in desperate need and had no care in the world about it. It is people like Thomas Gibbs that ruin peoples lives and get away with murder. Do not EVER use him!

This guy is a thief. Flat out stole my money. I reported him to the bar association and he said he would pay it back. He never did. Terrible attorney and a thief!!!
