Update 9/29: Was contacted by a firm partner and reimbursed for my additional expenses. He also stated their customer service experience would be reevaluated. They still need to understand a client should never have to call to see if a document is recieved. The firm should contact that client to complete those open lines of communication. Appreciated the call. Wouldn't recommend. Selected them because their website at the time mentioned they has an office in BR. Once I paid my money they informed me no one sat there. They're customer service is awful. I was only treated with respect during my initial consultation and once everything was finalized. When I called to see if they recieved paperwork they almost seemed annoyed that I was following up on MY case which took 9 months which I was told would take 6. I then had to shell out additional money to have items notarized but they tried to ask me to drive almost 2 hours to New Orleans because they didn't have that office in Baton Rouge which is near me. Disgusted in the way I was treated as customer especially during such a sensitive time. My ex even had to call a few times to check on the process to ensure I wasn't prolonging it on purpose. Would not recommend AT ALL.
