Jenny Weyer was very helpful and tried to make sure I got the help I needed. I have numerous questions and I most likely still do, and she answer to the best of her ability. At first, the fee was 3500, but she dig in deeper and find that she can do a small succession which is 2500. I'm not particularly rich, but this help me out a lot to keep my father's estate within the family and there will be no complication in the future. Update 1: I was speaking to the case manager, Ava earlier and I was told my half brother and sister also have a stake to my father property in New Orleans even though they live in Vietnam. This make me feel a little slighted because for one, it is unverified information as the only who would know is me and my brother. The US government doesn't even know they existed, and there no paper work to even verified them so mistaken identity is high which scares me. What if i die? How would they identify them? It would be different if they were living in the United States where we can work together, but with the different nation we live in and the fact they don't speak fluent English which make it a liability for myself and my brother who live state side if we need to do something. I wish all my family members are together, but it far too difficult when we are all far apart. It not like I want to sell my home, but I want the risk of my home being lost from my family to go to zero. 25% to each of us is fine so long there is no risk or high cost. I also feel like there are hidden fee which still scare me. Honestly, I am filled with nothing but worries. Did I hire the wrong people for the job? All I want is for me and my brother to be 50% of the estate each with no unknown variables. My father told me not to worry, but he died and all I am is filled with worried. I feel like im paying for help without knowing what kind of help im getting. Did I even made the right decision? Waiting make me anxious. I dont know how other people even handle stuff like this. Update 2: Well, my case manager decided to terminate my case and decide to refund my money or whatever portion of it. She will send my father title to me via email or what not. Apparently, reviews like mine is considered ugly since my review is public for all to see and not fair to them since they haven't complete the task at hand. Honestly, it not the result that I wanted. From what I learned, she did do her work. That I can say for sure. But it a shame she refuse to complete the mission due to my 4 star review and my message on linkin of how I am concerned about my case. This is why I am always worrying. Something always gotta go wrong. Even if I stated my concerned, it would still be my fault. I dont think I can ever trust a law firm, I can never understand what they're thinking. At the end of it all, I am still worrying. I dont know who to trust. How do people handle this type of things? Update 3: It seem I will get a 100% refund according to the email. I dont understand why this firm would do that as they did put in some work in my case. The issue was that I didn't have confidence in them and felt like they might be screwing with me. And it true, I do feel that way. I dont trust people, and I dont trust a law firm either. So whenever i see them, i gave my honest opinion whether on facebook or linkin. The money I paid out isn't cheap and their service isn't cheap either. At least not in my eyes. I dont understand the market value at all. But Scott/Vicknair do not want their honesty and integrity to come into question. So although I am dissatisfied with the outcome, Scott/Vicknaire did give me 100% refund (I think) and my father title which I have trouble finding. The review started out as 5 star but was lower to 4 star due to my own feeling of nervousness of their work. Would I change it to 5 star? No, i don't think I will, while it true I obtain a 100% refund (I think). And my father title which they found. The mission wasn't complete. Also, this review is an honest review of how i feel about them and my entire experience.
