Ms Badeaux was hired as my divorce attorney after speaking with her at the beginning of October. Since that time, any communication was done through email, most of which went unanswered. Any documents requested of me were not followed up on. If I were that important as a client who is paying for your services, I should have the expectation of being followed up with regarding relevant documents before the hearing. When I did submit the requested documents, they were never received as her personal email isn't checked and again, had to re-email them the day of the second hearing. She then grew frustrated at me for not submitting the documents and because her Zoom feed was bad. I chose to abandon her and the hearing when I realized I am not valued as a client. She chose to withdraw as my counsel as I had not fulfilled my payment obligations despite requesting to terminate her services in Oct and advising I couldn't afford her services in Jan. If you want to be valued as a client, seek other counsel.

The woman who runs this business has slandered my business on Etsy because of her own incompetence....I'm not sure why she has it out for a struggling mom, but I would assume she is childless, angry and a "Karen" at best. I hope you find assistance elsewhere, as I would not trust this woman!

I have never seen a more dishonest and greedy person in my entire life. I hired Ellen for a mediation case and had a consultation with her. After two months I call her office to realize that she has not even contacted the opposing party. After numerous calls, Ellen returns my calls and seems confused. She even addresses me by a different name. At this point I tell her that I no longer needed her services and wanted my money back. Guess what, she had chewed through 2500 dollars of my retainer. When I called her office, they sent me an itemized bill that clearly looked fishy and doctored. I finally found different counsel. All the positive reviews are fake. I strongly urge people to complain against this woman to the bar council. I plan on doing it. What a scammer. STAY AWAY FROM HER LIKE THE PLAGUE

Ellen and her staff have always been very courteous, responsive, and easy to work with. She is very creative with her approach to cases and I have learned a lot from her over the years. She also understands that the best interest of the children is always most important.

Mrs. Badeaux has been an excellent family attorney for us. Her time and personal commitment has allowed us to make informed decisions by giving us the information needed. We have had to trust her with very delicate and emotional issues, which she has guided us to excellent outcomes. I will always appreciate the exceptional service she provides our family with. I have always liked the statement, "you get what you pay for"; and Mrs. Badeaux has been well worth it.

It has been nearly 7 years since my divorce was final. Had it not been for Ellen Badeaux, I would not have been awarded equal shared custody of our children. Children need the nurturing of both a loving father and mother. Because of Ellen, and her representation, which led to the Courts decision, my children have both me and their mother still fully active in their life. This has given them the priceless gift of being able to grow up knowing they are loved by both dad and mom, without feeling abandoned by either parent, just because their parents divorced. That is priceless!

I went through multiple attorneys over 3 years. All told me I had no choice but to settle in my family court case. It was a very biased closed parish case. Ellen and her staff accepted our case. She was thorough, frugal with our time and money, and ultimately put an end to my torment. I appreciate her and her staff more than I can acknowledge. Thank you guys! My family is at peace and kids are safe.

she called after hours to discuss my case and was very open and honest about my options. she gave me the confidence to move forward without having to open my wallet for the time being. I am an attorney in direct competition for business with Mrs. Badeaux, so it would be in my best interest to give her a bad review. However, Mrs. Badeaux and her office staff are efficient and very effective. I can speak from experience that she will work hard on your case. As for the money issue the few reviews have complained about... good luck finding an attorney that works for free or a reduced rate. Every attorney in the U.S. is going to want to be paid for their work. If you want excellent service you have to pay for it. As much as I have had dealings with Mrs. Badeaux, both as an opposing counsel and working in cooperation with her over the past 20 years, you will get the most for your money when you hire her, with the exception of hiring me of course ; ).
