I had the good fortune to choose Laura as my attorney. She was down to earth, intelligent, and hard working. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an honest attorney.

I came from another lawyer who had royally screwed up my ongoing divorce. Laura calmly walked me through everything that needed to be done and patiently answered all the questions I had. She really knows her stuff!

Laura was such a wonderful help to me. Her knowledge was exceptional and her professionalism was beyond reproach.

Dumbfounded!!! I called to inquire about an initial consultation and receptionist gave an overview of what that entailed, which included the $300 fee. Before proceeding with scheduling the consultation, I asked if Ms.Davenport has much experience dealing with opposing spouses with high-conflict (cluster B) personalities. She said I would have to talk to Ms.Davenport during the consultation as “legal advice cannot be given over the phone”. I explained I was not asking for any legal advice. I was asking for qualifications/extent of experience. Receptionist reiterated her previous comments. I asked why she was being difficult by not providing requested information. As it was obvious she was still not understanding my inquiry, I attempted to clarify using an analogy of shopping for a mechanic; before bringing your BMW to a mechanic and paying for a diagnostic fee, you would like to first know if they even have experience working on BMW’s. And if they do, how much. She then hung up on me. ……… Ms.Davenport could have been the perfect attorney for me, but now I will never know. I’m not at all discouraging anyone to avoid this firm. I hope nobody else has this same experience, just be prepared for its possibility. Re response: High-conflict personality types in the opposing spouse require special understanding and experience to most effectively manage the situation of separation and divorce that will certainly provoke extreme harmful, irrational behaviors. Having an attorney experienced and skilled in dealing with such people it vitally important to the in the advice given to the client during the extended time period of the divorce process. I feel the client should be comfortable with, and have confidence in, their attorney’s skills and abilities. I understand the potential negative optics of direct communication between attorney and potential client prior to official consultation. So I even asked the receptionist if she would be able to write down some specific questions I had as to the extent of your familiarity and experience with certain personality types and get back with me with the response. I don’t see how this could be construed to remotely appear to be legal advice when it is clarification of the attorneys credentials or experience in general with certain topics. Your website does not address your experience with mental health as it pertains to your practice of law. It only states your experience as having been a counselor for drugs and alcohol. I am very sorry this simple question is unobtainable without first spending $300.

Absolutely a horrible experience. This lawyer will tell you what you want to hear for a $300.00 consultation fee, even bring in a second lawyer, and tell you that you are getting two lawyers for the price of one (get it in writing or get ripped off). She is not worth her fees. I accomplished more in one hearing representing myself than her and Anthony Fontana did in 6 six months and it didn't cost me a dime. I fired her and Anthony quit. DO NOT USE HER!

Awesome law office!

Now changing my 5 star rating to a 1 star rating only because you cannot put 0 stars. They asked me to review them before they even took my case. After I gave them high praises online, they proceeded to take my case and virtually do nothing to help me other than show up at court. I’m a single father who wanted nothing but to spend his time with his kid. Mrs. Shaw, the attorney that was working on my case just seemed to roll over and let the courts/plaintiff make demands and do as they please all the while my dog was taken from me, I didn’t see my kid for 2 months, and had to be supervised with my kid for no reason at all! Thanks, y’all! Y’all did a great job!!!
