One-on-one, she was professional, responsive to all of my questions and concerns, and explained everything I needed to know clearly and concisely. My grandmother came to me after 61 years of marriage asking for my help, disclosing decades of abuse, intimidation and control at the hands of my grandfather. If you are fortunate enough for Mrs. Thompson to agree to take your case, you will discover that her impressive technical knowledge of the law is outmatched only by her care for her client’s best interest and more importantly the innocent children stuck in the middle of a relentless legal battle. Money can’t make someone care, but you can hire the right person who will care. I had to let go of my previous counsel for a multitude of reasons. It was a difficult decision however I realized that if I had made this change earlier not only would it have saved me wasted money but may have altered the legal path all together. Mrs. Thompson has been a life saver! I hired her hesitant to do so because I had it in my mind that this divorce/custody would be cordial and easy but that was not the case. She listened to me at the beginning and respected my request and decisions and when I finally realized I needed to fight she was there ready and made me feel less stressed and guided me in a way that helped ease the stress through this draining process. I was Terrified, a typical worried single mom. After 5 Years, my son's father shows up trying to take custody of the little boy i have raised his entire life.
