This lawyer is not good for immigration work

Mr Gahagan and his staff is so professional, he is the best immigration lawyer in New Orleans. My wife had a complicated case but Mr Gahagan fixed all the damage that the previous lawyers did to wife’s case and helped her got her green card. He was always there for us answering all our questions.Thanks to Mr Gahagan for great and successful job,Very much recommended.

My name is Clay and I want to share my horrible experience I had with this so called Immigration lawyer Michael Gahagan. I hired this person to represent me in getting my future wife here from the Philippines. He was very nice to me at my first visit with him, however after I paid him a $3500.00 fee his attitude change 180 degrees. He down loaded a K-1 Fiancé visa application off the governments web site and charged me $70.00 to overnight the app to me. I called him up to ask a few questions because I did not understand and he was very rude to me and told me that no one ever has any problems with the questions and it was going to take forever for him to complete my case at this rate. After all this is why I hired him was to assist me in filling out the application. I called him the second time and he informed me that he was firing me as a client because I refused to fill out the application and hung up on me. I then called him back to say I never refused to fill out the app I just needed his help only to find out that he blocked my call. He kept my $3500.00 so I reported him to the Louisiana bar association and requested to arbitrate in front of a Arbitrator and he refused to respond to the Louisiana Bar Association. I then reported him to the Louisiana Ethics Board in Baton Rouge. The last report I received from the ethics board is that he has filed for a extension regarding the unresolved case before him. I would like to close by saying that he is a disgrace to the many professional immigration attorneys out there. Do not believe the reviews on his web site as they are fabricated by him and not by clients because I tried to leave a review on his website and there is no place for a client to click on and write a review.

My case is still in the process will update the review once my experience is complete. But so far so good..

Made the best choice in choosing my Attorney, my husband lives overseas and we applied for a green card visa. Mr.Gahan helped us with documentation and always available whenever i had any questions, i would definitely recommend to my friends, hopefully I’ll unite with my husband this year with the help of Mr.Gahagan, Thank you so much.
