It's really hard to find people who really care about other human beings and truly want to help. Just getting around to writing this review but since a friend just told me the same thing that I experienced I felt it is very necessary. I called Ms. Wilson's office about 8 months ago seeking an attorney for a family court case my name, phone # was taken as well as a brief description of they type of case that I was dealing with and I needed an attorney A.S.A.P. Well I am very disappointed to say that 8 months later I am still waiting for my call to be returned. I understand that attorney's are very busy and handle large case loads, but I would expect a professional and his/her staff to professionally handle each incoming call who could potentially be a client with care and concern. If Ms. Wilson was unavailable to offer her services then I expect a call should have been placed to me informing me of such information as well as an offer to a referring colleague. At that time I had no one and was EXTREMELY disappointed. Unprofessional folks like this is why I question dealing with certain folks and go outside of the norm, they make it hard to support your own.

My wife retained Sharon Williams to represent her in the case for custody of her daughter from a previous relationship. She failed to file a petition for custody in a timely manner which allowed the opposing party to file in their parish instead of the parish in which we reside. To top things off she did not show up to court for mediation until it was too late and my wife, not knowing she had other options, represented herself. We essentially flushed almost $2000 down the toilet on this lawyer with nothing to show for it and have since had to retain another attorney. We placed our trust in her to fight for us and our daughter and she broke it. We paid Sharon Williams to be there for my wife in this trying situation and she failed miserably.
