My daughter was fighting CPS to get her kids out of foster care.. They were taken based on a phone call that they received. There was never any proof of anything. She was accused of being on drugs, but was never drug tested. It took them 8 months and they still had the children. they wouldn’t even let my daughter talk to her children, even though she was supposed to talk to them weekly. They split the kids up and they put my granddaughter in a foster home an hour and a half away for my grandson they would not even let them talk on the phone to each other , this was a nightmare! I never thought that DCFS had this much power! I hired John and he made sure that we got the kids back into our custody. They were returned to me in December 2023 a lot of times I couldn’t get a hold of him when I needed to talk to him, but he did OK get the job done and to me that’s all that matters, we just wanted the babies home. I just want to say thank you so much for everything that you did to help us get those children home. We are very thankful for you and all that you did for us. . I can tell you, if I ever need an attorney again John Brokenfore will be the one that I hire. Thank you, John! I think we can change some of the CPS laws!! Make a difference!

Bokenfohr is an excellent attorney, willing to go above and beyond to fight for you and your child if necessary. Bokenfohr is non-judgmental, supportive, and understanding; easy to talk to and definitely a problem solver. I had a couple attorneys prior to hiring him who really botched things up, but he was able to not only repair the damage they had caused but even win my case.

John is a great attorney. He knows his stuff. Any question I had, he had an answer and explained it all to me and the whole process. I recommend him to anyone needing an attorney.

Was never in contact with me about my case. Even had a court date change and wasnt informed until after I'd been to the courthouse. Asked for a refund and they kept swinging around trying to make meetings and delay my refund. Still haven't recieved it. I'd give less stars but it needed 1 minimum

John is a veteran and seems knowledgeable in family law. He has a nice office and is very confident in what he says. When John focuses on your case he will make you feel secure. Problems I have seen are that Johns office has to many cases and your personal case gets neglected. It's usually takes a day or two to hear something back after calling and leaving a message. Also forms his office has produced in my case always had a problem one way or another that required back tracking to fix. His office also seems to take their time and hurries up last minute to make sure everything is in order. Otherwise your case sits and waits for you to call and ask about it. I felt like I had to stay on my case for it to be worked which was a huge annoyance since you pay a large sum of money. If you do choose to work with his office I would pay partial payments to make sure it is being done as it should be and your case gets the attention it deserves from a paying client.
