I would like to thank Shaheen & Gordon for believing in my medical malpractice suit. Specifically Attorney Alex Spadinger and Paralegal Tara Lake. This was a very drawn out case, at no fault to them. Alex did a lot of research to obtain the best experts and obtain the information needed to support my case. He was very thorough in explaining everything to my husband and I, so we could fully understand the process. We were fortunate to avoid going to trial, although I had complete confidence in Alex’s abilities. His tenacity and expertise during the mediation process allowed for us to come to a positive resolution. I could never thank him and Tara enough and I would highly recommend them.

I only have the highest of praise and gratitude for Corey McKenna. He was assigned to my son’s case as a public defender, and went above and beyond what we expected. The issues all evolved from my son’s long-time addictions. Corey worked hard with the district attorney’s office to get my son into a long-term rehab. Corey followed his case, kept in touch with me and my son throughout his three-month incarceration and six-month rehab. My son graduated from rehab after six months, a changed person. I am grateful for Corey’s professionalism, hard work, follow-up with us and his sincere caring for his clients. I feel like he had a part in saving his life. Dawn Doiron

At a time in my life when things couldn’t have seemed to get much easier, I was hit with a refusal n driving w.o among other things, had little knowledge of lawyers of how the courts/ penalties work in Maine n in the midst of dealing with not only a pandemic n expecting a newborn I turned to google to look for the most reasonable yet highly rated- most reviewed criminal lawyer ( my $) could afford w.o throwing away a life I’ve worked so hard to achieve and after visiting n speaking with 7 of them I went with THE ONLY ONE WHO HAD A 5* review with over 100 diff ppl chiming in n not only was I told by other lawyers they could basically solve it “ w. A few extra $ but said they could do this w.o meeting me or reviewing my case ; Sooo after actually sitting dwn with Roger he not only didn’t p*^*yfoot around or feed me a line of crap n what I wanted to hear but told me what to expect. i already had an idea would come of this- shamefully not being my first time around thee ol fml system I wasn’t knew to the lawyer telling me they could help me or yea “ should be fine “ deal so was interested when I saw he stuck EXACTLY to his word n game plan. Roger knew what I was working with n was able to pay most up front n work with me as we went but that didn’t stop him from doing what he does best get WHAT he said done , all while letting me continue to be at work ( when I could) while letting me in on every aspect n detail of what happened n where n what are plans would be going forward, n from everything that occurred- not once playing DEFENSE but pushing what I believe was more like the charge of it all , even in front of prosecutors n the judge in what would be the resolution to our final chapter. If you’ve ever had any kinda bs happen to you where u just felt like this couldn’t have happened at a worse time n wanna crawl in a hole hoping was a bad dream .. do yourself a favor n stop scrolling or wasting your time n what’s left of your sanity n just try to have 1(ONE) meeting with Roger first ! Then tell yourself if it’s not what you hoped could possibly be the best outcome -“W.O” dreaming it didn’t … then do yourself a solid n stop beating yourself up n listen to this one review ! Dudes been there , heard it all n nothings gunna phase em, a Military vet whose also represented some 0f what I’d be guessing -insane cases that your lil hiccup/ bump in the rd will be another Tuesday for him !

Roger represented my little brother in a case that I thought he would get railroaded on, from day 1 Roger understood my feelings, and even though I wasn't his client (just a fierce sister) he kept my mind at ease, returned any of my calls, answered any and all of my questions!!!! I would hire him to represent any client with any mentality, learning disabilities like my brother has...Roger had the patience of a saint cuz I'm no cup of tea to have to deal with! He helped me look outside the box in a difficult situation which is hard for someone who's been involved with the system!!!

Through unfortunate events, I had the opportunity to work with Corey on some very pressing matters with my freedom on the line. If anyone is actually reading this and wanting to know information that will help you make a decision choosing representation, I can only share this- He cares. I don’t have years and years of experience needing an attorney. While seeking representation, I immediately felt he had my back and showed me empathy. Within the limits of the law and also what’s right vs wrong, Corey consistently treated me with dignity and respect while also giving me the facts without fluffing things up or pushing me in a direction that would further his career. There are self-absorbed people that walk this earth just like there are self-absorbed attorneys that play “the game” as I would call it. Let’s face it, it’s all about money and control in the court system. I gave Corey five stars because he earned it. In September of 2020 I was involved in a motorcycle accident, a driver “didn’t see me” and ended up totaling my bike. I contacted Cory and he was all over it. He is very much down to earth and listens to his clients. I would highly recommend him to anyone! Thank you Cory!!
