Brittany Sawyer and her staff provided excellent service. Were very helpful and responsive to all our questions and concerns. Not only was she able to defend us from an unjust accusation, her calm and empathetic demeanor offered satisfaction.

Child Custody/child safety cases are by far the most difficult cases on every level. I am so thankful I was referred to Pamela Holmes. She is, hands down, the most straight forward, clear cut, no BS attorney I've ever dealt with. I have had 3 others to help me in the past ... none compare, none were able to help me at this level. She was prepared and on point at each court mediation and hearing. To say I'm Grateful is not enough. I highly recommend her. She will do her best and get the job done. I'm happy to say she helped me win my case.

If you want to see your money back go with a different office. I recently retained Brittany to take care of a change of legislation from a different state. She asked for a retainer of $750, which I was completely fine with. After her services I received an itemized bill for her services and was notified I would be getting $630 dollars back. This made me pretty happy. But now I have yet to get that money back. It's been almost a month. I have called the office and talked to three different people, but never Brittany... and was told all three times they would look into it and get back to me. The last time I called it was a Wednesday and I was told that the book keeper only comes in on Thursdays to cut checks. That was great because that meant she would be in tomorrow. I was also told I would get a call when the check was in the mail. I never received a call so I sent an email Friday morning asking if a check was cut. I was told it was not and that Brittany was out of the office until Monday. They have no problem taking your money for their services butt when it comes to giving you your money back, you have to go through a lot of hoops and do a lot waiting to hear where it is. I will not be using Holmes Legal group again and I will not be recommending them to anyone.

Pamela Holmes was the Guardian Ad Litem in my daughter's extremely contentious divorce proceedings. She did her job extremely well, and most importantly,she put the children first. She was caring, thoughtful, thorough and very mindful of the delicate circumstances the children were facing. Her professionalism was impressive, and again, her top priority was the well being of the children. She was their advocate. She is a highly respected Guardian Ad Litem for good reason.

My wife used the services of Pam Holmes as GAL for a troubled custody battle with her ex-husband. Pam came highly recommended but she wasn't an attorney that either of us had used in the past. Pam turned out to be an incredible investigator. She was thorough with every aspect of the case. At times, it could be frustrating how thorough she was with her investigation because it was a probing review of our household. She engaged with the children well and always made them feel safe. They trusted her and confided in her. She held the information in trust and never showed her hand, to the parents, as per her charge, and she investigated further. I was surprised at the detail of the report and the findings because she never let any information out from official channels. She made findings that were difficult to uncover because of the deceptiveness and cunningness of the other party's household. The price of her services did climb but it was more a product of uncooperative parties. I would hire Pam Holmes for her services, if needed, but I hope I don't have to.

I utilized Pam Holmes services as a Guardian Ad Litem in my recently completed family matter case and could not be more dissatisfied with her services, attitude or her practice of churning through billing on my case. The most disappointing thing about Pam is that she is a biased and ineffective investigator. She made the decision of which parent should maintain their parental rights for two young children without bothering to interview references or look beyond the face value of the issues. She was deceitful and gave false hope to the very people she would attempt to crucify with her decision and report. Pam’s GAL investigation ended up costing about $10K, more than three times what she said it would. Ultimately, I cannot recommend her for her guidance, fairness or diligence in a family matter case. Run… Don’t walk from her GAL services.

It’s a sad reality that there are actually lawyers out there who will take advantage of your unfortunate situation. Pamela Holmes is one of them. If you want your divorce to cost upwards of $15,000 ... she’s your lawyer. If you like fighting and want to go to court and spend even more money... she’s your lawyer. I sadly ended up in the courthouse with this incompetent woman on multiple occasions and started to see a pattern that every time we were there… she was running back and forth all over the courthouse sharing time (and wasting my time... thus money...) representing at least two or three other individuals and cases that she could not help settle in mediation. This is not a woman who likes to compromise or settle. This is a woman who cares about her own agenda and loves to fill her own pocket. That’s all that matters. She and her staff constantly and conveniently lose emails so you pay double to have to re-iterate the same message and resend. She will take advantage of you by advising you to not settle on the obvious things ... things like... not paying state guideline child support. “Hey… Maybe the judge will actually go for you not paying child support! Let’s just argue that we pay only half!” All of these things you will eventually lose on. She’ll tell you you have a chance… She’ll spend your money… And then when you settle on the court steps… she won’t care because her vacation is paid for. She’ll say “Well at least we tried. We fought hard. We should settle now. We don’t want to go to court on this one.” ... WAIT A MINUTE... Shouldn’t we have just settled in mediation then??? Before I spent an extra $10,000 on you because you told me not to settle on this exact same thing I am now settling on?! So now you’ve just spent extra money on her fighting something you’re going to lose anyway. Something that should be a very easy checklist item in mediation will become a battle, and turn into more money in her pocket. Find a lawyer that wants to help you finish this painful process quickly and fairly. Not make it long... dragged out... exhausting and expensive.

Ms Holmes is NOT the attorney you want if you would like to see things done quickly and professionally. She has wracked up $18,000 in lawyer fees for a simple divorce.

Pam Holmes represented me in 2016, Pam took her time to explaining how we would proceed listening to all of my concerns (some that didn’t matter 😊 as I was emotional during this time) with her kind caring heart she lead me to a much happier place of peace in my home for my daughters and I. Brittany Sawyer was my public defending lawyer provided by the courts for my child protective jeopardy case and in the beginning I was very skeptical about a public defender because I have nevertheless had much luck in the past. My experiences from the past where my lawyers have just tried to convince me to plead guilty to the first plea deal that pops up definitely clouded my judgement during my jeopardy case. In the beginning I thought that I wasn’t a bad parent and my children were never in real harms way or jeopardy as the courts define it. I didn’t want to listen to Brittany at my first court appearance and I was not in agreement with the Jeopardy Order so my case was set for trial. Fortunately, By the time my second court appearance was closing in on me, I had spent a tremendous amount of time in group therapy at crossroads and parenting classes and individual counseling that I had realized that Brittany was truly looking out for my best interests trying to convince me to agree with the jeopardy order the first time around because all I did was stretch my DHHS case out longer by several months. I finally agreed with the jeopardy order provided by DHHS and started my reunification process but my son’s father wanted to take it to trial which was scheduled for months down the road and he lost his trial anyways and still had to complete all the requests from DHHS as specified in our jeopardy order. All it did was prolong the end result and Briattany tried to tell me that a thousand times over and I never listened or was too stubborn. Once I realized that I had made mistakes and my children could have ended up in harms way as a result of my behavior, I was able to see that my lawyer and my case worker were not out to get me or steal my children.. They were truly there to help me and help my children and their goal was to reunite my family. Once I realized all of that, I saw just how much Brittany was trying to get through to me, she never let me go to a meeting alone without representation.. she had my back and fought for me throughout all of our DHHS monthly meetings designed to review my progress and check on the kiddos and I slowly started earning privileges with my kids back. Brittany went above and beyond her regular duty of a court appointed lawyer and even helped me file for a divorce and finished my divorce case free of charged and helped me with an eviction/FED process so I could get back into my home. I honest to god, would not have made it through any of the legal aspects of my cases had it not been for her help, honesty, her attention to me and my kids. I can honestly write this review and admit that I have NEVER had a lawyer be so attentive to my needs and fight for me when she knew I deserved it. I would HIGHLY recommend Brittany Sawyer as a lawyer for any family related case and more!!
