In a protective order case, Pat was not only extremely knowledgeable, but he was highly sensitive to the fact that it was a traumatic experience for all involved. From our first meeting, he explained everything to us in terms we could easily understand and was always very proactive and responsive when we had questions outside of our meeting. Getting a divorce is never a positive experience, but Mr. Crawford's diligence and tenacity made the process move relatively quickly. He maintained a high level of professionalism throughout the experience. I felt that he personally cared about the outcome and was willing to fight to get me what I needed. He did not let the other side push him around or intimidate him (although they tried) and I could tell he had a high level of experience with divorce cases. Patrick was a wonderful advocate for my son and I during our custody battle. He is strict and to the point when it comes to the information that matters most; something I found most important after the long battle that is a child custody case. I was a single mother up against Maryland power figures and was still awarded full legal and physical custody. I truly believe this was because of his diligence pertaining to my personal needs, and helping me exhibit my strengths to the court. Christopher Beard has helped us over the years with complex property concerns involving wills that were not recognized by Anne Arundel county, clearing up title faults to assemble properties for subdivision, and straightening out predatory mortgage concerns that may have saved out primary residence. Chris has an honest systematic approach to every case. He has reasonable fees, and he truly cares about your case. Every time you leave Chris's office you feel you have had a productive meeting and are on the way to solving the problem. My son recently needed Chris's help with a DUI, possession of CDS, hit and run, and reckless driving charge. On short notice, Chris was able to organize this case, communicate with the prosecutor, and end up with a PBJ and court cost. The PBJ included reasonable and fair punishment but, he saved my son from having a permanent record that could have ruined his life. Chris is an amazing attorney, and we are so thankful for the work he has done.

Retained Mr Beard to represent my son at District Court for driving on a revoked license (too many points for speeding). Revoked license ticket had 8 counts on it with 3 counts having a total of $790 in fines and 5 counts requiring he appear in court. At Court my son faced additional fines, up to a year in jail and 12 additional points on his driving record. Working with Mr Beard, we agreed on a defense strategy which was used along with some bending of the prosecutor's ear. The outcome was that the judge reduced the charges and fines resulting in an outcome of a $50 fine and no points, no jail. Granted this was a first offense and there was no previous court record, but still it was a relief to receive this minor outcome and to have this resolved and not hanging over our heads. My wife and I needed updated wills and Chris was tremendously helpful, guiding is through all considerations. He handled preparation, witnessing, and transfer of the originals to safe storage at probate. He also prepared mutual durable powers of attorney. COVID notwithstanding, he was prompt and thorough.
