Throughout the entire process following my car accident, Hyatt and Goldbloom communicated every step of the way and made me feel beyond support and seen. Updated 9/20/24: Once the incident below was brought to their attention, I received a phone call from the attorney I had worked with for most of my case, Mr. Sarro. He apologized profusely for the out-of-line employee and let me know having the client pay for their own FedEx was absolutely not authorized or anything they would ever support. Mr. Sarro had my check sent FedEx Overnight (on their dime), and it was in my hand 16 hours after I spoke with him. This was above and beyond what I was even asking for (which was really just something with tracking so it did not get lost).
As I said in my initial review, everyone had been great until the last day and that employee was an unfortunate bad apple. They did everything possible to right that wrong though and that's about all you can ask for as a customer.
9/18/24: I really wanted to give 5 stars to them. This has been a long process, but everyone had been very nice and professional. They tipped the scale to a 1-star today though when they called to ask me how I would like to pay the postage cost to FedEx my check to me as I live 3000 miles away. They collected 33% and that doesn't cover a FedEx envelope to my house? Granted, Mr. Hyatt had said there was no problem FedExing to me out of town, as would most firms who have collected and are not owed anything, but the admin person said that was not noted. I opted to mail it, and the less than stellar employee let me know they should actually be charging me for the stamp. Lawyers were 5 stars; ancillary staff contacting clients need to not be employed there.
