Tom Valkenet was immensely helpful in advising me and addressing my concerns. He was very generous with his professional knowledge, which helped guide my decisions. Litigation was ultimately avoided. Ian helped me out of a tough spot with a mortgage bank that was letting foreclosed property next to one of my properties flood my basement. Ian was great to work with. His rates were reasonable, he listened, and he got me the best resolution I could expect under the circumstances. Ian took on a case where a business next door came on my property and cut down 7 white pines without my permission, using a fake survey as justification. The lawyers for the business were mean and aggressive with ridiculous claims; Ian was great in his responses and ultimately they had to accept culpability. We came to a satisfactory settlement
