At the beginning of the pandemic, my brother was arrested while in the throes of a mental health crisis. Mr. Malech was assigned as my brother’s Public Defender and provided thoughtful, empathetic and effective counsel throughout the legal proceedings. The case was not an easy one. My brother has struggled with chronic mental health issues for almost thirty years and due to the pandemic, there were new constraints surrounding hearings and attorney-client communication. The case was further complicated by competency issues that seemed insurmountable. Mr. Malech was so generous with his time listening and learning about my brother’s history and the manifestation of his illness. He treated my brother’s case as an important matter and was always considerate of his humanity. He was instrumental in helping my brother gain the insight that allowed him to regain competency and provided compassionate and pragmatic guidance and advocacy every step along the way. As a family, we were so fortunate to have Lloyd Malech as my brother’s attorney. My brother is safely back at home and receiving the support that he needs to protect his mental health. A CARING, SMART, EFFICENT AND EFFECTIVE LAWYER. Not long ago, I had met three divorce lawyers before meeting Lloyd. I choose to meet with Lloyd after reading online reviews and decided to work with him right away during our first meeting. Lloyd is as good as everyone said, and even better, based on my experience. My case was complicated. However, Lloyd was able to get it done in a very short period of time without compromising my needs and with no complications. Since our very first meeting I have been impressed. Lloyd is extremely experienced, intelligent and efficient. He explained to me legal concepts in ways easy for me to understand. Not only was my case complicated, but it was also time sensitive. Lloyd worked really hard and paid attention to my special situation and special needs. His creative and strategic approach enabled us to resolve complex problems in an extremely short period of time. Plus, the process seemed so easy to him. It would have taken years to get it done or may not have gotten done at all if it weren't for Lloyd. I have worked with many smart lawyers in my profession, so I believe I am in a position to say this: Lloyd comes from the rare breed of lawyers who have high integrity, intelligence, and who are able to see the smallest details while viewing the big picture. HIRE HIM! I believe I was fortunate enough to find one of the best lawyers in town. Divorce is bad enough as it is, but I began my divorce process a few weeks before Covid hit. Lloyd first met with me after hours to hear my case. We only had 4 days to prep and be ready for court. I immediately felt like I could feel the ground under me again. He was very courteous, responsive and most of all patient with my many questions. He was extremely professional and never made promises he could not keep. Like most people, I had never been through a divorce before so I did not know what I was supposed to do or what may happen next which is so scary especially when there is a child involved. Lloyd worked hard for me and was on top of it all. Very thorough and very detailed. He took the time to explain the process, my options, and what I could expect next all while being sensitive to the often-frustrating situation I was in. At the same time had the tenacity and warrior mentality to prepare ahead of time and anticipate any attack, allegations and/or conversation that could come up in court. In court he was calm, collected and very courteous. But he Attacked, he got his point across to opposing side and he got it across to the judge very clearly. In the end when the Judge objected to something, he demanded the “Courts” rise to give judgement to me and to deny any comfort to the opposing side. Even then he put all the facts in front of the court and did not leave anything off the table. He didn’t blink an eye until he got the judgement I wanted in court and he made me walk out with my head held high. I felt I was working with the best attorneys available the whole time and I still believe that in retrospect.

You need someone in your court like Lloyd. Lloyd has lived the experiences you are getting ready to go through. So he knows what the expect from both the client and the legal side. Lloyd is one of the best lawyers out there today. He is compassionate, aggressive, professional and knows the law.
