A very professional office and wonderful staff!

RINKY DINK LAW OFFICE!!! I had the misfortune of consulting with THE OFFICE OF JOANN WOOD regarding a deed transfer, and I can honestly say it was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever encountered. My parents and I met with HADLEY, who was not only rude but also seemed completely ignorant about the specifics of our situation. It felt like we were bothering them rather than receiving professional guidance.. she seemed BIASED!!!. To make matters worse, the owner, Joann, was equally dismissive. Instead of addressing our concerns, she made us feel like we were wasting her time. For a $200 consultation, we expected at least a modicum of respect and expertise. Instead, we left feeling more confused and frustrated than when we arrived. I cannot recommend this firm to anyone. If you value professionalism and a respectful environment, look elsewhere. Save your money and find a lawyer who actually cares about their clients.

Joann Wood did a great job for me years ago so I returned to her office recently. Hadley Ramiah and Jennifer Brien were amazing. The office handled estate documents for my mom, the contract for the sale of her house and finally the closing/settlement with impeccable service. Hadley truly cares for her clients and I am forever grateful for the compassion she showed towards my mother. They will certainly get my business again.

When I contacted the Orphan's Court for information to assist me in settling my husbands estate, the clerk asked who my estate attorney was. When I mentioned Joann had drawn up the wills and I was working with Hadley on my husbands estate, he immediately reassured me that I was in excellent hands. He said their compassionate care and concern for clients as well as close attention to estate details had helped make a difficult time much more manageable for those he had the pleasure to serve in his capacity at the Orphans Court over the years. He couldn't say enough. Knowing I'm "in excellent hands" that I can trust is very reassuring and makes me know that we chose well, and for that I am thankful.

I wouldn't use anyone else for my real estate transactions. They have handled several real estate closings, contracts, deed preparation, and other legal work for me. Always with attention to detail and promptness. Joann and her entire staff do excellent, reliable work. In talking with other professionals (real estate agents, lenders, other attorneys, etc.), Joann's exceptional reputation is well-known in the community and she is respected for the great work that she and her staff do.

Cost effective To the point Quick while also having a sense of humor

Joann and team just completed our settlement for our new home and as buyers, we couldn't be happier. Her team was prompt, responsive, efficient and thorough from the start of title request, to me signing at the table! I can't recommend Joann and team enough. They are amazing local advocates with extensive knowledge of the area, were able to work closely with our lender and realtor, and were available for questions throughout. If you're looking for a settlement company for your real estate transactions, this truly is the office.
