A very close and dear friend hired Profit Law Firm to handle a rare, difficult and strenuous Guardianship Trust concerning a minor child. Michelle Profit has been amazing in handling numerous litigations (which all have been won) and her professionalism, attention to detail and knowledge of Trust matters are impeccable!

I would leave zero star if I could. CFC doesn't care about your dream of having a baby. They are only interested in your money. While they are searching for the surrogate, they keep withdrawing your money every month until it runs out. After we waiting for more than 1.5 years, they told us we are still in the queue, and no guarantee when. We can walk away, but we won't get any money back because the money has run out. In the end, we lost both money and time. CFC is nothing but scam. Stay away from them!!! We moved to another agent, who helped us find a surrogate within 3 months. Our baby is 2 years old now. We are so happy we walked away from CFC.

I had a question on a District of Columbia probate court filing, and reached out to the Profit Law Firm. I liked how they first offered condolences for my loss, and then took the time to identify my needs. Setting up a paid 15 min consultation with Michelle, which provided me with very well-informed and useful answers to my questions. Helping me understand some of the processes that the DC Probate Court goes through. While I was concerned about paying a fee and possibly not getting much for that. I found that I got a lot of valuable information in the short virtual meeting.

We have now completed two journeys with CFC and have two wonderful children, 27 months and 2 months old. CFC was the right choice for us: always responsive, very organized and clear, and highly supportive when we faced difficult situations. They told us at the start that their goal is that the first surrogate candidate they introduce us to is the one we will match with, and in their experience this is what happens 99% of the time, because they are so careful about who they introduce. And this is what happened. 5 minutes into the first Zoom with the potential surrogate, my partner and I exchanged a knowing look -- this was the person. To be clear, they are slow and expensive. We signed with CFC for our first journey in July 2020, matched with the surrogate in Feburary 2021, signed with the surrogate in June 2021, and our first child was born in April 2022. For the second journey, the same surrogate agreed she would be our surrogate again in January 2023 and we signed a new contract with CFC in February 2023. The surrogacy agreement was signed in June 2023 and our second child was born in May 2024. But their slow pace can be a feature, not a bug, if caution, diligence and precision are what you are looking for, like we were. In vetting 5+ agencies in extended interviews before our first journey I focused on their surrogate screening processes and on their case management processes, and the others didn't compare. I think it's a company culture thing, as the founder is a lawyer. At work, I go by the 80-20 rule (aka 80% of the outcomes are determined by 20% of the actions), so good enough is good enough most of the time. In a surrogacy journey, I feel like it's more like 10-90 (aka 10% of the outcomes are determined by 90% of the actions) -- which is to say the majority of things are not controllable. So doing everything right that you can possibly do right is important. If that doesn't sound like you, that's totally great too. We have very good friends who went with a different agency that felt a lot more "fly by the seat of their pants," and also ended up with two children wonderful and healthy in every way. Great. Just not how we function. So be clear on what is important to you, how you think about planning and risk, and choose accordingly.

The staff at CFC were an integral part of our journey and helped us at every step of the way. We couldn't have asked for better support.

My experience as a surrogate with CFC was beautiful and seamless. I had a healthy baby boy last summer and would do it all again.

Mr. Patel is really knowledgeable about immigration and helped me with various ways to have USCIS respond to my cases that were out of normal processing times. I would highly suggest people to be patient with Mr. Patel with his response times but he usually does respond with a lot of information which cuts down back and forth time.
