I just finalized a year-long custody battle with my son’s father and I absolutely could not have done it without Ethan Dellinger. I usually don’t take the time to write reviews, but after everything he did for me, it’s the least I can do. I feel that I truly lucked out, finding him, as he came highly recommended by a friend. His rate was reasonable especially for a single mom like myself, and he is very considerate about billable hours. He encouraged me throughout the whole process to not back down on certain terms, how to deal with my challenging ex, and ultimately worked out a favorable outcome for both parties. Throughout the whole process, he was always easy to get a hold of, quickly responsive to emails, and very respectful of my time. In 2004, Jolie Weinberg handled my divorce. I was broke, scared, and completely overwhelmed with everything. In the divorce, Jolie suggested, no, insisted, I get QDROs for my soon-to-be ex-husband's pensions. I didn't even understand what that meant, and retirement seemed so far away, but Jolie said to do it now, don't give it up in negotiations, you deserve this, and you will be glad later. We did it and it was filed with the divorce agreement. Well, my ex just retired last month, and I just got a letter that I will be receiving a monthly amount that REALLY makes a difference to my budget. I still care for one of my sons who has autism, and will for the rest of my life. This unexpected amount will make it a little bit easier. I will be forever grateful to Mrs. Gauri Bayoumi, because over the past year while working on my Custody and Child Support case she was nothing short of amazing. Mrs. Bayoumi's professionalism, responsiveness, and attentiveness to my situation made me feel extremely comfortable and confident with the process and the overall outcome of my case. The strategic manner in which she presented evidence during the trial to how she called witnesses to testify, showed me I was working with a seasoned attorney. I reached out to Margret Oliver (a very highly regarded lawyer in the state of Maryland) and not only did she confirm Gauri's advice but gave her high praise for her knowledge and strategy given my circumstances. This process was not easy, but I am so thankful that I had Gauri to hold my hand, walk me through it, and help me keep my three little boys safe. In the end, I got sole custody through a settlement with my ex-wife and my boys have been thriving ever since. From me and my family, thank you Gauri!
